Head Coach
Gallagher was hired to be the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Saint Vincent on April 25, 2025 Gallagher brings a wealth of experience and a proven record of success at the collegiate soccer level. Gallagher most recently served as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Denison University, where he played a pivotal role in leading the Big Red to an NCAA Tournament Elite 8 appearance in 2024, back-to-back conference tournament appearances, and national rankings as high as No. 10. His contributions helped the program secure numerous accolades, including three All-American selections, two conference Players of the Year, and an impressive 26-6-9 record over two seasons. Prior to his time at Denison, Gallagher was Director of Soccer and Head Coach at the Hoosac School in New York, where he operated a residential soccer academy and led the program to a GESP League Championship and a top 15 national ranking among U.S. prep schools. His leadership placed the school's first student-athletes into NCAA Division I programs. Gallagher has also held assistant coaching roles at St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton, consistently producing all-conference players, All-Americans, and contributing to multiple conference championships. He has a deep commitment to player development and academic excellence, with his teams regularly achieving high academic standards. “I’m incredibly honored and excited to be joining the Saint Vincent College community,” said Gallagher. “This is a program with great potential, and I look forward to building a culture of excellence, accountability, and passion both on and off the field.” Gallagher holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management from SUNY Canton. He also holds multiple coaching certifications from United Soccer Coaches and the U.S. Soccer Federation, including a USSF "D" License. “We are thrilled to welcome Coach Gallagher to Saint Vincent College and our athletic department,” Saint Vincent College Athletic Director D.P. Harris said. “To attract a coach from a top five program in the country like Denison was a critical piece to the hiring process. We are extremely excited to see Coach Gallagher guide our program to championship levels.”

Cameron Coutts
Assistant Coach
Cameron Coutts, a a native of Scotland, UK, arrived at SVC in January 2025 to begin working with the men's soccer program as a graduate assistant coach. His primary focuses will include recruiting and player development. Most recently, Coutts worked with the professional club Stenhouse Muir FC in Scotland, as he primarily focused on the sports science realm while analyzing player data and performance in matches over the course of the season. He also was employed by Nethertown Surgery in Scotland, focusing on primary care and rehabilitation. Coutts played collegiately at Bethel University in Tennessee, an NAIA institution where he graduated with a degree in Fitness & Wellness Promotion in May 2023. A four-year member of the soccer program at the right back position, Coutts served as a team captain for the Wildcats. Prior to Bethel, Coutts played for Rosyth FC and Elgin Star FC in Scotland, where he was a part of three cup finals teams. Coutts has earned his Scottish Football Association level one coaching badge and is currently planning to pursue his level two coaching badge.

Cory Northrup
Assistant Coach
Cory Northup joined the Bearcat men's soccer coaching staff prior to the fall 2022 season. Northrup, a four-year member of the Saint Vincent program who graduated from SVC in May of 2022, will assist Head Coach Matt Davis primarily in the areas of opponent scouting and recruiting. Northrup appeared in 55 career games for the Bearcats, starting 44 matches while scoring four goals and adding five assists. A native of Clarksville, Maryland, and graduate of River Hill High School, Northrup was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll as well as the PAC Sportsmanship Team. Northrup will be pursuing his master's degree in counselor education while he assists the Bearcat program.

Andres Mateos-Carrion
Assistant Coach
Andres Mateos-Carrion joined the Saint Vincent men's soccer coaching staff in the Fall of 2024 after a four-year career in the midfield for the Bearcats. Mateos-Carrion, originally from Alicante, Spain, started in 52 games for Saint Vincent as a center defensive midfielder, including starting all 18 matches for the team in his senior season. During his senior year, the Bearcats conceded the third-fewest number of goals in conference play. He concluded his career with 3 goals and 4 assists on the attacking end. After his senior season, Mateos-Carrion was awarded the John Granish Award by the SVC Athletic Department, established in 1985 to honor the late SVC men's soccer coach. The award recognizes student-athletes who made the most of their ability through hard work, dedication and determination to their sport through their four years as a Bearcat. Mateos-Carrion, who graduated in May 2024 from Saint Vincent with a degree in mechanical engineering, attended high school at Saint Benedict's Prep in Newark, NJ.
