As coach of the women's team, Cline and assistant coach Mallery have built a golf program that is a contender for the conference championship. Mallery was Saint Vincents first captain.  Coach Mallery won an individual championship (at UPG), along with several runner-up finishes during her tenure as captain.  Former Bearcat Jamie Lute also captured individual titles (at Westminster and SVC), as did Laura McDermott, Taylor Bianco, and Natalie Caratelli.  In 2013, Senior Sarah Rebitch set a conference record with a 77 at the Fall Championship, where she earned second overall.  Since 2010, Bearcat women have won three individual titles, including Jayna Cline (at Thiel), Sarah Rebitch (at Thiel and PAC). In 1979, Dr. Cline won the PIAA State Golf Championship, the same championship that Arnold Palmer won twice. Cline was awarded a four-year golf scholarship at the University of Virginia, where he earned All ACC Academic honors from 1981-1984. Dr. Cline was Club Champion and Senior Club Champion at Latrobe Country Club in 2013.  He won the Palmer Match Play Tournament at Latrobe Country Club in 2003, 2005, 2006, and again in 2008 and holds the front-nine course record for members at Latrobe with a 6-under par 30.
