Santa Barbara City College Women's Basketball

Krul was the WSC North Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2010. SBCC has qualified for the Southern Cal Regional in seven of the last 10 years. The goal for this year is to continue to build a program that is based on class, discipline, and pride. Each team member must strive to reach each core value for success in the classroom and on the basketball court. The core values are Conviction, Over Learn, Adaptability, Consistency, and Honesty. "Coach K" is also proud of her players' academic success. Many have received academic or athletic scholarships to 4-year schools and the Vaqueros have a 97-percent graduation rate in the past seven years. "My goal is to make sure every participant has a positive experience either as a player or as a redshirt," she said. Krul was a first-team All-State performer at  L.A. Valley College. She finished her career at Cal State San Bernardino, where she earned All-Conference honors. She received her BA in Kinesiology from CSUN and graduated with honors with a Master's in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She teaches Introduction to Kinesiology and Cardio Boxing. Sandrine resides in Santa Barbara with her husband, John, and their two children, Cameron (19) and Megan (15).
