Cody Bidlow
Assistant Coach
Bidlow, an SBCC alumnus and recent graduate of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Cody worked with various NCAA Division 1 athletic teams in the Performance Athletics department at Grand Canyon. Cody will work with the members of the sprints, jumps and hurdles crews, including the relay squads. Additional areas he will be involved with are recruiting new student-athletes to SBCC and mentoring academic performance of current student-athletes. While at SBCC, Bidlow competed two seasons for the Vaqueros and was team captain for the 2013 season. Cody has the sixth-fastest 100m time in SBCC history at 10.85. At Grand Canyon, Cody was a 100m dash and 4x100 relay medal winner in the 2014 NCAA Division 1 Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Cody graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. In addition to coaching, Cody continues to compete as a sprinter. He spends time away from the track enjoying nature, writing lyrics and blogging on topics related to health, exercise and sport.

Scott Fickerson
Assistant Coach
Fickerson got his Master's in Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and did his undergrad in Exercise Science at UC Davis. Fickerson competed in Cross Country and Track & Field for the Aggies after two seasons at Ventura College. Born and raised in Ventura, Fickerson now resides in Santa Barbara. When not coaching, he can be found outdoors kite boarding, surfing, running, hiking, etc.
