Jake Fitzpatrick
Head Coach
Fitzpatrick is an adjunct faculty member in the Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance Department and has taught and coached at SRJC since the Fall of 1984. Fitzpatrick lettered in three sports (cross country, wrestling and track) at Campbell High School. He continued his wrestling career at West Valley Community College in Saratoga before transferring to Sonoma State University where he wrestled his junior and senior years for the Cossacks. Fitzpatrick graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Physical Education. He also completed his secondary teaching credentials at SSU. Fitzpatrick received his community college teaching credential and completed his Masters Degree in Sports Administration at Saint Marys College of Moraga. Coach Fitzpatrick has also worked for Santa Rosa City Schools for 38 years where he taught chemistry, physics, physical science, physical education and drivers education. He was the science department chair and athletic director at Santa Rosa High School for his last ten years. Fitzpatrick has also coached several sports at the high school level including varsity soccer, wrestling, track and field, and golf. He retired from SRCS in December 2013. In his spare time Fitzpatrick enjoys playing golf, working on home improvement projects, and riding his Harley Davidson.
