Santa Rosa Junior College Women's Water Polo

Denize began his coaching career with Woodlands Recreational Swim Team in the east bay, serving as their head coach for three years.  Denize also coached four years at the high school level for both Northgate and Piner high schools.  He was SRJCs assistant mens water polo coach 2005-2007.   Denize attended Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, where he participated in varsity aquatics.  After graduating he attended Diablo Valley College where he was an All American water polo player and swimmer. Denize resides in Rohnert Park and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Ashley and dog Joey.  He is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Hennan was the associate head coach and assistant coach for 10 years. Hennan also served as the assistant coach for the SRJC Men's water polo team since 2009 and the assistant coach for Sonoma State University women's polo since 2006. In 2014 Hennan was inducted into the SRJC BCAT Athletic Hall of Fame where she was an All-Conference Player, First team All American, team MVP and two-time team captain. This year Hennan will be the first water polo athlete to be inducted into the Sonoma State University Athletics Hall of Fame. While at Sonoma State University, Hennan was selected First Team All-American in 2005 by the American Water Polo Coaches Association (AWPCA). She was the first water polo player in school history to earn All-America status and led the team in goals scored and goals per game. Coach Hennan graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology. Hennan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), certified by the NSCA and also a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certified by USA weightlifting. She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Kinesiology at Sonoma State University. Hennan enjoys spending time with her family in Healdsburg, barbecuing with friends, and going to the beach. She continues to feed her athletic passion training and competing in Olympic-style weightlifting.
