Sewanee: University of the South Women's Track

Grimes was an All-SAA performer in cross country. Continuing to run, Grimes is now competing in ultra-marathons. He won the Yeti Snakebite 50 miler in Lithia Springs, Ga. in August. His family lives in Charleston, S.C. 

Heitzenrater is in his 25th year with the university, and worked the first seven years in the Office of Admission. A 1990 graduate of Duke University, Heitzenrater was a 400 and 800 meter runner for the Blue Devils track team under Hall of Fame coach Al Buehler. He holds a USA Track & Field Level 2 Certification in Endurance Events and Jumps and is a member of the U.S. Track & Field Coaches Association. Heitzenrater also received a Masters in Sport Administration from Belmont University in 2009.
