John Kolasinski
Head Coach
Kolasinski will enter his 12th season on the bench for the Saints and his 27th season as a collegiate head coach in 2015. Kolasinski is a two-time NAIA Northeast Regional Coach of the Year, a five-time New England Coach of the Year and a five-time Maine Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. He is currently on the American Baseball Coaches Association Board of Directors. Currently, Kolasinski has racked up a career record of 441-627-2. In 2012, he claimed his first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament championship, guiding the Saints to a 4-0 record in the conference tournament, and then coached the Saints to a 2-2 record in the NAIA Tournament Daytona Beach Bracket. He has three NAIA Northeast Regional appearances and six Maine Athletic Conference Championships under his belt. Kolasinski has coached eight Conference Players of the Year, 31 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 16 All-America Honorable Mentions. He has also coached in the International Tournament in Japan during the summer of 1998. Kolasinski currently stands as the coach with the second-most wins in Siena Heights baseball history. His best season was his 33-25 record in 2012 -- a 25-win improvement over the previous season. During his time at Siena Heights, Kolasinski has brought about constant improvement, both on the field and off the field within the program. Kolasinski has coached the only three NAIA Gold Glove honorees in school history, saw 27 players earn all-conference accolades for their play on the field and had 35 players honored for their work in the classroom. Throughout his career, Kolasinski has brought about positive changes to the environment of the baseball programs he has worked with and has created stronger teams in both their athletic skill as well as their academic prowess. Several of Kolasinski's former players and assistant coaches have gone on to coach elsewhere, including four college head coaches and 10 assistant college coaches. Numerous others who have played for or worked under Kolasinski are high school and legion coaches. Three former players have signed professional baseball contracts.
