For the second consecutive year, Kohn's defense produced an All-American, this time however it was a First Team All AFCA selection in defensive tackle Kyle Connors. Connors led a defensive line that finished 10th in the country in sacks (32). Kohn was voted the Mid States Football Association Mideast Assistant Coach of the Year. Kohn is responsible for recruiting Oakland and Macomb Counties in Michigan as well as the state of Indiana.
