Jill Greenleaf
Head Coach
Greenleaf is in her 14th year at the helm of the Skidmore men's and women's swimming and diving programs, having brought stability and enthusiasm to the Thoroughbred program. Under Greenleaf's leadership, Skidmore athletes have set 164 program records, and the teams finishes in the Liberty League and UNYSCSA conferences have steadily improved. Greenleaf formerly served as the assistant coach at Smith College (2000-2002) and at Eastern Connecticut State University (1999-2000). A four-time All-American at Swarthmore College, Greenleaf was a multiple conference and college record holder. She has also been the assistant director of the two largest, privately run swimming coaches clinics in the countrythe Eastern and Central States Swim clinicssince 1998. Nicki Damiano
Assistant Coach
Damiano returns to Skidmore after serving as the head swimming coach and aquatics director at SUNY Cobleskill for past four years. While at Cobleskill, she guided both programs to top-two finishes at NEAC championships the past two years and was twice voted the NEAC coach of the year. Her teams also set 36 program records. Prior to Cobbleskill, Damiano served as the associate swimming coach for the Thoroughbreds from 2009-2011. She also has an extensive club coaching background, specifically with the Schenectady-Saratoga Sharks, the United Aquatic Club (Johnson City, NY) and Cortland YMCA (Cortland, NY). Damiano received her bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland, swimming for the Red Dragons for four years and serving as captain her senior year. She established four college records, was part of an NCAA B-qualifying 200 Medley Relay and was the SUNYAC champion in the 100 Butterfly her senior year. Damiano earned her master's degree in Geography from Binghamton University. Dave Longbrake
Coach
Longbrake enters his second year as head diving coach. In his first year, Dave proved to be exceptional at elevating a diver's ability. The 2011-2012 season was a remarkable one on the boards, with Skidmore attaining their first All-American as Douglas Pilawa '12 finished 9th in 1 Meter and 3 Meter. Prior to his time at Skidmore, Dave had eight years of successful club and high school coaching in Washington state. As the diving coach of Garfield High School, he consistently scored divers, both girls and boys, in the top 6 in the state. A captain his senior year, Dave dove at Hartwick College and is still active there, working at the college's dive camps each summer since 2008.
