Making the second NCAA appearance in program history, the Penmen battled eventual regional champion LIU Post to extra innings twice before finally succumbing 7-6 in 13 innings to be eliminated. In 2013 SNHU won a then-program record 29 games, going 29-15, while capturing the NE-10 Northeast Division title and earning the right to host the Northeast-10 Conference tournament.
