Southern Utah University Men's Soccer

Hogan is only the second head womens soccer coach in school history. During her tenure, Hogan has had nine different athletes honored by the Big Sky Conference, with one Second Team All-Conference performer and eight different All-Conference Honorable Mentions. Hogans athletes dont only perform on the field, but in the classroom as well. Last season, 26 of the 29 players on the roster were honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. The team has an overall average GPA of 3.4. Hogan is from West Jordan, Utah, and Southern Utah was her first collegiate head coaching position. A distinguished player herself, Hogan was a three-time All-Big 12 selection for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 1995-98 and was named to the All-Big 12 Tournament team following her senior season. Her team also captured three Big 12 tournament titles (1996, 97, and 98) while advancing to the NCAAs Sweet 16 in 1997 and 1998 as well as the Elite 8 in 1996. Hogan also served as a team captain during her senior season. Following her collegiate career Hogan played professionally for several professional teams including the RushSLC of the Womens Premier Soccer League, the Boston Breakers of the WUSA, and the Chicago Cobras and Denver Diamonds of the W-League. Hogan has also served as an assistant coach at Idaho State, Winthrop University and at the club and high school levels, heading up the Utah Avalanche and Utah Rush Soccer Clubs as well as the Skyline Eagles womens soccer program. Coach Hogan earned a degree in English from Nebraska in 1998 and later received a secondary teaching certification from Weber State in 2009.  Hogan went on to earn two Master's Degrees from Idaho State University, one in communication and rhetorical studies and one in P.E. and athletic administration. She also holds an A coaching license from the U.S. Soccer Federation, a national youth coaching license, and a NSCAA Premier coaching license, giving Hogan the two highest ("A" license and NSCAA Premier) licensure accreditations available to coaches in the USA.  Coach Hogan lives in Cedar City with her son, Cooper.
