Linda Hamilton
Head Coach
Hamilton enters her ninth season as head coach of the Southwestern women's soccer team. Hamilton brings a wealth of experience to the program, both as a player and coach. She played collegiately at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina, earning All-America status and all-conference honors all four years. She was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1988. Hamilton went to play for the United States National Team, where she played in 82 international matches. She helped the team to a World Cup gold medal in 1991 and bronze in 1995. Southwestern won the SCAC Conference Title in 2019 for the first time in program history and made their first NCAA appearance. Hamilton has been named SCAC Coach of the year in 2016 & 2018.

Felix Oskam
Assistant Coach
Oskam was appointed as the assistant womens soccer coach at SouthwesternUniversity in August 2015. He has served as a volunteer coach for the Pirates for the past two years and has been a staff coach for the Austin Texans Soccer Club since 2006. Prior to Southwestern, he was the head coach of the Texas Tech University Womens Soccer program. He served two seasons as an assistant coach and was head coach for the Red Raider program for seven years. Under Oskam's leadership, Tech gained national recognition because of players like Kristy Frantz, who was selected to the NSCAA All-Central Region and All-Big 12 team. Before joining Tech, Oskam served for three years as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs at the University of Tulsa. During the 1993 season, the Tulsa women's program was ranked as high as 11th and finished the year as the #18 team in the country. In 1991, Tulsa's men's team achieved a regional ranking of number two and a national ranking of 17. Oskam also worked as a staff coach for the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Oklahoma. Oskam holds a United States Soccer Federation "A" license and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Over the past several years, he attended several international coaching clinics that included FIFA licensed instructors. A 1981 graduate of The University of North Texas in Denton, Oskam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. In May of 1993, he earned a Master of Science degree in sports management from the University of Tulsa. A native of Soest, The Netherlands, Oskam played 12 years of club ball in Holland before being recruited to play for the University of North Texas. During his collegiate years, he helped guide the Eagles to their first national ranking. Oskam was a four-year letter winner at UNT and a two-time Texas Collegiate Soccer League All-Star selection. Oskam's wife, Judy, is professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University and they have two daughters, Danielle and Jessica.
