Assistant Coach
Burns was a 4 year member of the Mens Varsity Swim Team and was a school record holder in the 100 yard breaststroke, 200 yard Medley Relay, 400 yard Medley Relay, and 200 yard Freestyle Relay. Matt was also a NCAA Division II National qualifier in the 200 & 400 yard Medley Relay during his time at Pfeiffer. For the past 4 summers Burns has been the Head Coach of the Stingrays Swim Team at New Bern Golf & Country Club (NC). Burns can be reached at
