Sam Kettenhofen
Head Coach
Kettenhofen will begin his second season as head coach of the St. Cloud State Universit women's track and field and cross country teams. He previously served as a graduate assistant for the SCSU men's and women's track and field programs under head coach Eric Hanenberger from 2013 to 2015. Kettenhofen recently earned his master's of science degree in sports management from St. Cloud State University in 2015. A 2013 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Kettenhofen was a member of the track team and competed in long jump, 4x100m relay and javelin. He helped the Gophers to five Big Ten Team Championships during his time at Minnesota. Kettenhofen holds a Level 1 Certification from USA Track and Field. While attending the University of Minnesota he was a double major and double minor earning degrees in Human Resource Development and Business Marketing Education. Kettenhofen minored in Human Resource and Industry Relations and Sport Management. Kettehofen grew up in Appleton, Wisc. and was a standout athlete during his prep career at Appleton North High School.

Travis Zins
Assistant Coach
Zins serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the St. Cloud State athletic department and also works as an assistant coach on the SCSU men's and women's track and field teams. He has been instrumental in creating the Huskies' strength and conditioning program during his tenure on campus. As a collegiate athlete for the SCSU men's track and field program, Zins was one of the best throwers in SCSU history and not surprisingly coaches the men's and women's throwers. A four-time national participant, he is also a four-time North Central Conference champion and two-time All-American in the shot put. He was the national runner up in the 2000 Division II Indoor National Championships and received All-NCC honors numerous times in the shot put, discus, hammer, and weight throw. A native of Nicollet, Minn., Zins received his bachelors of science in physical education in 2002 from SCSU and is currently working towards his masters of science in exercise science from SCSU. Zins, his wife Stacie and daughter Caylin, reside in St. Cloud, Minn.
