Alicia Browne

Assistant Coach

Browne will not only guide the team on the court, but will also monitor her student-athletes academic progress and help prepare them for life after college.  "Hiring Alicia is a no brainer," said St. Francis Brooklyn Director of Athletics Irma Garcia.  "She has been generous to the Terriers' athletic family by donating to the program and remaining involved.  Her passion and dedication will benefit the young ladies on the tennis team and we look forward to having her for many years.  Alicia will be an asset to our program." Browne was a member of the St. Francis Brooklyn women's track & field team, which was coached by former associate director of athletics Anthony Kurtin '00, and was co-captain of the women's tennis team, which was directed by current St. Francis Brooklyn's men's tennis coach Chad Davis '01. In addition to her athletic achievement, Browne was named to the St. Francis College Academic Dean's List throughout her tenure as a student and was also named to the Duns Scotus Honor Society in 2004. She was also the recipient of the 2005 Scholar Athlete of the Year Award at the annual student-athlete banquet.  Immediately after leaving St. Francis College, Browne worked and played in the USTA Corporate League for Deloitte & Touche.  She later joined the USTA Women's Adult Tennis league in Manhattan and Queens. Browne attended Zicklin Business School where she received her MBA in Finance.  In addition to her responsibilities as head coach of the women's tennis program, Browne is a Senior Consultant for Deloitte Advisory.
