St. Joseph's University - Long Island Men's Golf

Cangero taught in the Sachem School District for 31 years as a math teacher.  He coached the Sachem North golf team from 1998-2003 and during that time won five league championships, two Suffolk County championships and one Long Island championship.  Cangero also coached two individual players to Suffolk County championships at Sachem.  Coach Cangero holds a bachelor of science in math education from CW Post and a masters degree in elementary education and math.  He is certified to teach K-6 and 7-12. Cangero lives in East Northport with his wife, Katherine, and has three grown daughters.
