St. Olaf College Men's Wrestling

Ahrar will coach his 12th season at St. Olaf in 2016-17. Last season Ahrar coached All-American Garrett Beaman to a seventh place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships. In 2014-15 Ahrar coached three Scholar All-Americans, Carl Elmer, Sameh Almousa and Adam Woitalla. He also coached two All-Americans in the 2010-11 season, Ryan Timmerman and Josef Waples. Ahrar spent 2004-05 as the head coach at Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, S.D., leading seven Tigers to the NAIA National Championships and producing two Great Plains Athletic Conference Champions and one region champion. A native of Iran, Ahrar spent two seasons at Carleton College as head coach , where he was named the MIAC's coach of the year in 2002, before heading to DWU.   Ahrar, a 1992 Minnesota State University-Mankato graduate, has a bachelor's degree in English literature and a minor in speech communications. He was a varsity wrestler at MSU-Mankato as well as the 1988 Men's National Collegiate Olympic Weightlifting Champion. He earned a master's degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica in June of 2004.

Bullerman enters his ninth season as an assistant coach for the 2015-16 season. He served as interim head coach during the 2009-10 wrestling season. Bullerman earned NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2011 after guiding two Oles to All-American honors.

Evan begins his fourth year as a volunteer assistant coach at St. Olaf in the 2015-16 season. He has spent the last five years as a coaching assistant for the Rochester Wrestling Club. Previously, he coached at Mankato Loyola High School for two years. As a high school athlete, Evan was a Minnesota State Wrestling Champion as well as a Central Plains freestyle runner-up. He was a two-time Minnesota State freestyle runner-up and a member of Minnesota's national freestyle team. Evan also wrestled at the collegiate level for Minnesota State-Mankato.
