Head Coach
Hill II enters his 4th year as head coach after serving as an SCF assistant coach for 14 seasons before that. Only the 3 head baseball coach in SCFs 55 year history, he takes over the program from his father, Tim Hill Sr., who retired on June 30, 2012 as the Florida JUCO all-time wins leader with 1192 victories. During Hills tenure as an assistant coach from 1999 to 2012, SCF teams advanced to the state tournament all 14 seasons while winning state championships and advancing to the JUCO World Series in 1999, 2002 and 2010. During this time, SCF won 7 Suncoast Conference titles and were state runners-up in 2006 and 2008. Hill had 125 players advance to 4 year colleges and universities including 62 players who signed with NCAA Division 1 universities. Sixty-four players signed professional contracts, including three players who advanced to the major leagues (John Webb 1999, Callix Crabbe 2002 and Matt Maloney 2003). Nine players received All-American honors and four players were named the Florida JUCO Player of the Year. He also coached 7 Suncoast Conference Players of the Year and 116 All Suncoast Conference selections. Fifty-eight of 95 SCF baseball records have been set in the last 14 years including 32 of 40 individual and team hitting records. In addition, 12 of 13 single game offense and single season offense records have been set during this time. From 1995-98, Hill was an assistant baseball coach at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) where in 1997 he received his masters degree in health and physical education. In 1998, he helped coach GSW to a Georgia Athletic Conference championship and a berth in the NAIA Southeastern Regional Tournament. Prior to GSW, Hill worked for three years for the Boston Red Sox in business operations. From 1993-95, he was the Red Soxs director of merchandising for Major League Spring Training and an assistant general manager for the Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota Red Sox during the 1993 and 1994 Florida State League seasons. A 1990 graduate of SCF, Hill played in the Colleges baseball program from 1988-90. He was named to the 1988 All-State Academic team and the 1990 All-State Tournament team. Hill received his bachelors degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 1992, where he graduated with cum laude honors. Hill and his wife, the former Belinda Walker, are the proud parents of Timothy W. III (14) and Leigha Elizabeth (12).

Barry Batson
Associate Head Coach
Bio Batson’s duties include coaching first base, middle infielders, outfielders and assisting with recruiting. Batson graduated from Bradenton Christian High School in 1983 after helping the Panthers to a district championship in 1981 and back-to-back Bay Conference championships in 1981 and 1982. He led the Panthers in batting average (.388) and stolen bases as a senior and was selected first team All-Bay Conference shortstop and MVP. He was the only baseball player in Manatee County to receive a college baseball scholarship in 1983. He played his college baseball at Montreat-Anderson College and the University of Charleston (UC) and graduated from UC with a B.A. in mass communications in 1988. Batson was an assistant coach at Cardinal Mooney and Southeast high schools, as well as the head coach of the Manatee HEAT. As the head coach, he led the team to district runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2006. Batson founded the Athletics in Christ ministry in 1998 and has worked with Baseball Chapel within the Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and the Sarasota Red Sox (class A Florida State League) organizations. Batson is a developer of Web-based strength and conditioning programs for professional baseball teams. He currently works with the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates strength and conditioning coaches and has maintained the Web-based media for the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. He is the administrator of Providence Community School in Bradenton. Batson and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Caleb and Christina, and reside in Bradenton.

Don Robinson
Coach
Bio Robinson was a second-round pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1975 and played 15 years in the Major Leagues with the Pirates, Giants, Angels and Phillies from 1978 to 1992. Robinson finished second in the Rookie-of-the-Year voting in 1978, his W-L record during the season was 14-6. He won a World Series title with the Pirates in 1979 when he pitched in games 1, 2, 4 and 7, winning game 2. In 1987, he was traded to the San Francisco Giants, where he pitched in the playoffs against the Cardinals. Robinson also pitched in the famous 1989 World Series for the Giants, which was interrupted by a devastating earthquake. He finished his Major League career with an overall record of 109-106 with 57 saves and a 3.79 ERA in 1,958.1 innings pitched with 1,251 strikeouts. Robinson also won three Silver Slugger Awards as the best hitting pitcher in the National League and had 13 career home runs.
