Steve Gachko

Head Coach

Steve Gachko is in his 21st season as the head coach of the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s tennis team in 2025-26. Gachko served as the head coach of both the men's and women's programs prior to 2020 and compiled a 370-203 record combined between the two teams. Since 2020, he has amassed a 68-28 mark as the men's head coach. He was the ITA National Men’s Coach of the Year award in 2015. He is the winningest women’s and men’s tennis coach in program history.   Gachko has won 13 conference Coach of the Year awards, and his teams have finished over .500 in all but three of his 20 total seasons. Additionally, Gachko was awarded the USTA/ITA Campus & Community Outreach Award in recognitions for service to the community and leading community-based tennis programs. Tory Zawacki Roy

Assistant Coach

Tory Zawacki Roy joined the Ducks coaching staff in 2024. A two-time All-American at Duke, she was ranked as high as No. 5 nationally in juniors and competed in junior Wimbledon, the Australian Open, and Roland Garros. She reached a career-high ranking of No. 41 in the ITF world junior rankings and No. 400 on the WTA Tour, and a finalist in the US Open Junior Doubles Championships.
