Railey has totaled a career record of 179-114 and is among the NCAA's active winningest coaches in Division III with a .611 winning percentage. She is 115-75 in 11 seasons with the Mustangs. 2016 saw Stevenson advance to the MAC Commonwealth title game for the third straight season and winning eight of its final 10 games en route to its eighth 10-win season in the last nine.  A total of five Mustangs earned MAC Commonwealth All-Conference honors, with Carli Bafford honored as an All-Region selection by the IWLCA. In 2015, the Mustangs advanced to their second-straight Commonwealth Conference championship game. For the sixth-straight season, Stevenson appeared on the top-20 poll. Five players were named all-conference with three on the first team. Senior Kathryn Merrick was named the Offensive Player of the Year. In 2014, the Mustangs finished with a 13-6 record en route to the program's first conference title and first appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship. Stevenson was ranked for the sixth-straight season, finishing the year at No. 19. In 2013, Railey was named Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year as the Mustangs won a school record 16 games while posting a perfect 8-0 record in their first season in the conference. Stevenson, who rose to its highest-ever rankling in the IWLCA Coaches Poll at No. 15, had five players named to the All-Commonwealth Conference First Team, including Player of the Year Marissa Meiklejohn. Meiklejohn was also named a Third-Team All-American by Synapse Sports. In 2012, the Mustangs finished 9-7 with an appearance in the semifinals of the CAC Women's Lacrosse Championship. In its first season in the new Mustang Stadium, Stevenson finsihed 6-1 on its home turf. For the third straight season, the Mustangs were ranked in the IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll, when they were ranked No. 19 on March 6, 2012. The Mustangs had five players named to the All-CAC team and two to the IWLCA All-Region team. Stevenson finished with a 10-7 record in 2011, finishing the year with its school-record fourth-straight 10-win season, highlighted by a 13-10 victory over No. 17 Mary Washington on April 2. As a result, the team earned the No. 2-seed while making its four-straight appearance in the CAC Women's Lacrosse Championship. The Mustangs boasted six All-CAC selections and four IWLCA All-Region selections. Stevenson had a record-setting season in 2010, achieving the program's first-ever national ranking on March 8 and climbing as high as No. 17 on April 5. The team was ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III South Atlantic Region Poll after finishing the season with 11 wins, one shy of the school record set in 2008. The Mustangs posted their second-straight 10-win season in 2009, marking the first time since 1998 as they finished 10-7 after winning seven of their last 10 games. Following a 2-1 start, the team was receiving votes in the IWLCA/Under Armour Division III Weekly Poll for the first time in school history on March 4. Stevenson finished the 2008 season with seven wins in their last eight games and received the program's first-ever regional ranking when the team was ranked fifth in the final NCAA South Region poll of the season. Railey led the Mustangs to six wins in each of her first two seasons in 2006 and 2007 after the team posted consecutive one-win seasons in 2004 and 2005. A native of Baltimore and a 1987 graduate of Loch Raven High School, Railey returned to her hometown following six very successful seasons at Eastern Connecticut State from 2000-05. During that time, she led the Warriors to 64 wins, a Little East Conference championship in 2005 and an ECAC Division III New England Region Championship in 2002. Railey was named Little East Conference Coach of the Year in 2005 while leading Eastern to the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship before losing to eventual national champion Salisbury. The winningest coach in the history of the women's lacrosse team, she also guided the Warriors to the title game of the ECAC New England Region Championship in 2003 and 2004 as well as the Little East Conference tournament in 2002 and 2003. Railey led ECSU to a spot in the New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance playoffs in her first season in 2000 before leading the Warriors to a share of the South division regular season title and its first playoff win since 1998. In 12 seasons as a collegiate field hockey head coach, Railey totaled 79 wins. In three seasons at Stevenson from 2007-09, she totaled 21 wins while lead the team to three consective CAC Field Hockey Championship appearances. In 2008, she led the Mustangs to a school record 10 wins and an appearance in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Railey is also the winningest coach in the history of the field hockey team at Eastern Connecticut, totaling 39 wins from 2000-05, including a school record 11 wins in 2001. Prior to Eastern Connecticut, Railey was the head field hockey coach at Goucher for two seasons in 1998 and 1999 after spending three years at Mount Carmel High School as the director of physical education. While at Mount Carmel, Railey was also the head field hockey coach and assistant girls' lacrosse coach at Loch Raven where she was a part of two state semifinalists in lacrosse and one in field hockey. From 1991-93, Railey was an assistant women's lacrosse and field hockey coach for three seasons at McDaniel before serving as the head field hockey coach in 1993 and 1994. Railey is a 1991 graduate of Gettysburg with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. She was a four-year letterwinner and team captain in both field hockey and lacrosse for the Bullets from 1987-91. She later received a master's degree in liberal arts with a concentration in physical education from McDaniel in 1993. Railey was inducted into the US Lacrosse/Greater Baltimore Chapter Hall of Fame in 2007 and is a member of the United States Lacrosse Association and Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.  A member of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Rules Committee from 2005-2011, Railey served as a member of the NCAA Division III Regional Advisory Committee for both women's lacrosse and field hockey, a member of the IWLCA All-American Committee, the Committee Chair for the IWLCA Bylaws, an inaugural member of the IWLCA Rules, Safety, and Game Administration Committee, and an inaugural member of the Independent Review Bound for Collegiate Assigning and National Observation Program.

Mike Faith was announced as the Head Coach for Women's Lacrosse at Stevenson on August 15, 2025. Faith comes to Owings Mills with a long resume of success. Most recently, Faith led the Millersville University women’s lacrosse program to an 11-7 record and a spot in the PSAC tournament. He reached his 300th career win last season. Faith holds an overall career record of 300-101 during his 21 seasons as head coach, a winning percentage of .748. That percentage is 16th among all active NCAA coaches across all three divisions. “I’m very grateful for Interim AD Matt Grimm and the committee for this unbelievable opportunity,” said Faith.  “Stevenson University has a history of great academics and high-level lacrosse.  I’m so excited to get started and be a part of the Mustang Family.” He made his mark at Franklin & Marshall College, sporting a 194-42 record on the way to winning five Centennial Conference Championships. The Diplomats earned a top 15 ranking each season, while appearing in the national semifinals four times (2015, 2016, 2023 and 2024) and the national quarterfinals five times. Faith came to F&M from nearby Elizabethtown College where he led a renaissance of the Blue Jays taking them to the postseason in seven of eight seasons. Under his leadership, the Blue Jays went to the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs seven times, winning the Commonwealth Conference championship in 2012 and the then MAC championship in 2010. A three-time Centennial Conference Coach of the Year, two-time Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year, and three-time regional coach of the year, Faith is renowned for his ability to develop lacrosse players, producing six conference players of the year, eight conference defenders of the year, 40 IWLCA All-Americans, and 117 all-conference honorees. Faith has served as a keynote speaker for the U.S. Lacrosse Convention. He was the national chair of the Division III All-America Committee for six years. Before becoming a head coach, Faith was an assistant coach at the Division I level for the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Richmond. An outstanding collegiate lacrosse player himself, Faith graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in health fitness in 1998 after earning All-America First Team honors, serving as a team captain, and winning the team MVP award. He also led the nation in assists as a player at St. Andrew's College.
