Jayson Resch
Head Coach
Resch is in his fifth year as the head cross country and head mens track & field coach at Stockton. His teams have consistently reached milestones not achieved at Stockton for a long time. Last year, he led the mens indoor track & field team to third place at the NJAC Championships, the squads best finish since 1999. In 2014-15, Resch steered the mens cross country team to a tie for its best finish at the NCAA Regionals in 15 years, 18th place, and sparked the mens outdoor track & field team to its highest point total since 2006 with 101.50 points. Resch coached the 2013 womens cross country team to its best finish at the NCAA Regionals since 2006, 17th place, and third place at the NJAC Championships while the mens cross country and indoor and outdoor track squads that he mentors all placed fourth at NJAC meets. In Reschs first season at the helm of the Ospreys, the cross country teams each finished third at the NJAC Championships and placed higher at the NCAA Regionals than the previous year. Resch also led the mens track & field squad to fourth place at the NJAC indoor and outdoor meets. Resch, a Stockton alumnus, returned to his alma mater after three years as an assistant coach at California University (PA). Resch coached student-athletes in the jumps and multi-events at California, mentoring two all-region performers and four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference runners-up. He also helped his charges set seven school records. Resch served as the head cross country and track & field coach at Clarion University for three years from 2006-09. At Clarion, Reschs squads earned NCAA Division II All-American honors in nine events and his troops won PSAC championships in eight events. In 2006, Resch led the Clarion mens cross country team to a third-place finish at the PSAC Championship that was the best in school history and helped womens cross country runner Erin Richard become the Golden Eagles first individual PSAC champion. Reschs teams at Stockton, California and Clarion all have excelled in the classroom. The three Osprey teams that he oversees each have earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status. In addition, the Clarion womens cross country and womens track & field teams qualified for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award three times apiece and the California mens and womens track squads also netted USTFCCCA All-Academic Team slots during Reschs tenure. Resch, a Tuckerton, New Jersey native, competed in cross country and track & field during an impressive career as a student-athlete for which he was inducted into the Stockton Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016. He reached the pinnacle of his success by earning All-American status in the 400m with an eighth-place finish at the 1999 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Resch was a three-time NCAA qualifier in the 400m as well as the 1998 NJAC champion in the 400m and 800m. His time of 1:54.43 in the 800m that year stood as the Stockton record until 2016. Resch later won the ECAC championship in the indoor 400m in 1999. While attending Stockton, Resch participated in the Army ROTC program at Princeton University. After earning his criminal justice degree, he performed a five-year stint as an officer in the United States Army. Resch served tours overseas in Qatar and South Korea before he was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He subsequently obtained a second bachelors degree, in secondary education from Clarion University, plus a masters degree in exercise science from California University (PA).

Ashley Parker
Coach
Parker is in her third year as the Stockton head womens cross country coach/assistant track & field coach. Parker has led the womens cross country team to fourth place at the NJAC Championships and 20th in the NCAA Regionals in each of her first two seasons at Stockton. She moved up to the college level after six years on the coaching staff at nearby Pleasantville High School in her hometown. Parker was a distinguished and highly accomplished student-athlete at Lincoln University from 2003-07. She collected a total of six All-American honors in track & field while at Lincoln, highlighted by winning the 2006 national championship in the indoor 4x400 relay. Her 2006 indoor 4x400 quartet still holds the Lincoln school record of 3:51.08, which was set at the NCAA Championships. Parker also was a top-three finisher in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays at the NCAA Division III outdoor meet in 2006. She was inducted into the Lincoln University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of its inaugural class. Parkers success on the track is rivaled only by her achievements as a student. In 2007, she was a finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year award, becoming the first individual from a historically black college or university to reach that lofty status. Parker also earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America Third Team honors as a senior. She graduated magna cum laude from Lincoln with a degree in health science and later obtained her masters degree in sports management/administration from Drexel University. Parker was the head girls cross country coach, head girls outdoor track & field and assistant indoor track & field coach at her alma mater, Pleasantville High School, from 2008-14. During her first two years at Pleasantville, Parker also served as an assistant boys track & field coach.
