Zurlo joined The College at Brockport in 2000 as the field hockey coach and the Golden Eagles have enjoyed a great deal of success in field hockey in recent years. During the 2013 season, the first season on the turf, Brockport posted a 6-9 overall record and 2-4 record in the conference. With the selection of Jessica Blind to the 2013 All-SUNYAC first-team, Zurlo has had at least one player named to the conference first-team for the past eight years, 12 players total. Zurlo has rebuilt a program that managed just 14 wins in her first three seasons and had not had a winning season in the five years prior to her arrival. Her overall record following the 2013 season stands at 98-137 at Brockport and 116-154 overall at the college level. Zurlo won her 100th career coaching victory against Ithaca College, a 2-1 victory on October 4, 2012. During 2010, in guiding Brockport into the inaugural State University of New York Athletic Conference postseason tournament, Zurlo passed Linda Arena for most wins all-time in Brockport history with a 2-0 win over Wells College on Oct. 20. Zurlos best season was 2008, when she led the squad to an 11-7 record with three losses in overtime and a one-goal loss to nationallyranked SUNY Cortland. The 11 wins were the most in a season since the 1994 team tied the school record with 14 wins in a season. Zurlo coached two-time SUNYAC Player of the Year Amanda Pickard who wrapped up her career at Brockport in 2008. In her four season, Pickard set new school records for points and assists in a career as well as goals, assists and points in a season. She earned All-America honors in 2008 and was selected as captain of the North team for the annual North/South Senior All-Star game. Zurlo is a 1997 graduate of Genesee Community College, where she earned an A.S. in Elementary/Special Education. She continued her education at Geneseo, where she earned a B.S. in both Elementary and Special Education in 2003. Prior to coming to Brockport, Zurlo was the head coach at Geneseo for three years. She led the Blue Knights to an overall record of 24-17 in the programs first three seasons of competition. She also led the Knights to their first post-season berth as a qualifier for the NYSWCAA Tournament in 1999. She has also competed in field hockey at the Empire State Games since 1992 including the 2001 Western team which won the gold medal. In 2002, Zurlo coached the Western team in the open division of the Empire State Games. Zurlo is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society at GCC and also won the Outstanding Teacher Education Major Award. Since joining the Green and Gold, Archambeau has had seven athletes receive 2nd Team All-Conference honors (Kelsey Devine, Katelynn Mello, Meaghan Lurz, Renee Lauer, Bailey Lazrore, Emmalee Moore, and Paige Thowe). In the 2018 season, Archambeau also led Devine to a record-breaking season as she was ranked second overall in DIII field hockey for defensive saves. She tied her best season wins record in 2022 with 9 wins in the regular season. Increased goals by 26 from 2017 to 2019             Decreased goals against by 41 from 2017 to 2019             Decreased penalties/cards from 16 to 7 from 2017 to 2019 Scored 43 goals this past season - the most in a single season since 2008. Allowed 28 fewer goals against from 2018 & decreased goals per game by .98%.             Season to Remember: During the 2023 season, Archambeau led the Golden Eagles to their most wins (11) since 2008, posting an 11-7 overall record and a 3-3 mark in SUNYAC play, leading to a SUNYAC Tournament appearance. In 2023, the Golden Eagles earned 5 All-SUNYAC selections (Emmalee Moore, Ella Buchanan, Mary Young, Bailey Lazore, and Paige Thowe), the most in program history. The Golden Eagles' 6-0 start to the 2023 season served as the best start to a season in program history. Under Archambeau, Emmalee Moore broke the program record for single-season assists (10), with Moore and Ella Buchanan earning 2nd team All-Region honors.   Sustained Success: As first-year members of the Empire 8 conference in 2024, Archambeau coached Brockport to a 13-6 overall record (7-2 E8), posting the most single-season wins since 1994 (14), and the first back-to-back 10-win season since 1980-81. The 2024 season saw the most single-season All-Conference (7) and All-Region (3) selections in program history, including Empire 8 Goalkeeper of the Year Ella Buchanan.   Winning on and off the Field:  National Academic Team Award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 (Team overall grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester) 2017- 7 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad  2018 - 8 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad 2019 - 10 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad 2021 - 13 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad 2022 - 10 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad 2023 - 10 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad 2024 - 8 players named to The Division III National Academic Squad *(Recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through fall semester)* Cardinal Comeback: During her three seasons with St. John Fisher College, the program improved from two wins in their first season to 10 wins and an appearance in the Empire 8 Field Hockey Championship game in 2013.    As an Athlete: Before her coaching career, Archambeau was a standout on the field at Seton Hill, where she was a four-year starter and four-year team captain.  Over her career, she scored 37 goals and added 26 assists for 100 career points.  She had her most successful season in 2009 when she finished sixth in the country in points per game (2.0) and seventh in goals per game (.84). Archambeau closed out her college career by being selected to play in the 2010 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior Game. Background: Archambeau played varsity field hockey, softball, and basketball at East Rochester High School and was a two-time state champion in field hockey.  She was named to the All-State Tournament Team, was a First Team All-State and All-Monroe County selection, and was tabbed the Player of the Year for Monroe County field hockey. The East Rochester, NY, native recently completed her Master of Business Administration in Sports Management at Seton Hill. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Family Studies from Seton Hill.
