SUNY - Geneseo Women's Basketball

Polosky enters her fifth season with the Knights' coaching staff in 2015-16. A 2012 graduate of Geneseo with a degree in elementary and special education, Polosky was a two-year participant on the women's basketball program. Polosky was a part of the 2011 SUNYAC Championship team and in the same year was an Honorable Mention All-American recipient and garnered first-team All-SUNYAC and second-team All-ECAC honors. A captain of the 2011 squad, Polosky left the Knights as the all-time career blocks leader with 106. She now stands third all-time behind former teammate, Melissa Graham, and current player, Allison McKenna. A native of Endicott, N.Y., Polosky completed her Master's degree at Geneseo in 2014 and is a high school and middle school reading specialist at Avon CSD. Polosky currently resides in Rochester, N.Y.

Monahan enters his 10th season with the Geneseo coaching staff in 2015-16. Monahan previously served as an assistant from 2002-2007 and since he returned to assist head coach Scott Hemer in 2010, the Knights have played in the SUNYAC Championship three times, won the 2011 SUNYAC Title, hosted first and second round NCAA games and compiled a record of 83-28. A 1988 graduate of Canisius College, Monahan was a member of the cross-country, indoor and outdoor track teams and earned a degree in business education. A former business teacher at Keshequa Central School for 14 years, he now works as a Labor Relations Specialist for the National Education Association of New York (NEA/NY) and the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). Monahan resides in Warsaw, N.Y. with his wife Kim, a 1989 Geneseo graduate, and their three daughters: Katy, Morgan and Abbey.
