SUNY - Geneseo Women's Field Hockey

Seren has mentored the only two All-Americans in program history, including , who finished her career as the Knights' leader in career points (134), career goals (55), single-season points (59) and single-season goals (24) before being named a third-team honoree as a senior. also landed third-team recognition as a senior after completing her career as Geneseo's all-time assist leader (36). In 2010-11, Seren guided the Knights to a program-best 18 wins against just two losses, the program's first SUNYAC championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Reitz enters her fourth season as assistant coach with the field hockey team in 2016. Also part of Geneseos Department of Residence Life as Coordinator of Residential Education, she previously taught in Geneseo's Department of Geological Sciences as a visiting lecturer during the 2013-14 academic year.  Reitz graduated from Oberlin College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in geology and minored in history.  A member of the field hockey, women's basketball and women's lacrosse teams, she served as captain for all three during a standout senior year.   A second-team All-America midfielder, her field hockey career also included being named first-team all-region and first-team all-conference on three occasions during a career that included leading the squad to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance as a senior. Also a two-time all-conference pick in lacrosse, she was named the John N. Sterns Scholar-Athlete Award winner prior to graduation. She went on to add two master's degrees in structural geology and tectonic geomorphology from Columbia University and is currently working to finish her doctorate from Columbia.
