Tennessee Wesleyan University Women's Cross Country

Roberts coached Tennessee State Champions Cross country teams in 1994 (boys) and 1998 (girls) and also had a championship team in Grils track in 2006 and was assistant coach for State winning Cross Country teams at Oak Ridge in 2007 (boys and girls), 2009 (girls) and 2010 (girls). During the years at West and Oak Ridge Roberts coached 45 individual state champions in Sprints, Jumps, Hurdles, Relays and Distance/Cross Country. Coach Roberts won several State, Knoxville Metro and Knoxville Interscholastic League Coach of the Year awards while at West and is a former President of the State and Knoxville area Cross Country Coaches associations. At Tennessee Wesleyan Roberts will deal primarily with Sprints, Hurdles and strength training. Coach Roberts is married to Tammy Roberts (32 years), has two children, Haley (27) and Haden (21) and a grandson, Copeland (3).
