Texas Southern University Men's Baseball

Robertson became head coach of the Texas Southern Baseball program in June 2008. He led the Tigers to become the 2010 SWAC Western Division Champions. The 2010 teams 30-26 record was the best in TSUs history. Robertson has had five 30-win seasons on the Division I level. Robertson began coaching on the NCAA Division I level in 2003 at Prairie View A&M. Robertson turned that program around almost immediately. He led the Panthers to two consecutive Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships (2006,2007). He also led Prairie View to their first SWAC Tournament appearance, their first SWAC Western Division title (2006) and their first NCAA Regional Championship Tournament (2006). The Panthers were also named Black College Baseball national champions in 2006. Under Robertsons leadership, Prairie View made four consecutive appearances in the SWAC Championship Tournament. He has been recognized as the 2004 Black College Baseball.com Coach of the Year, the 2006 SWAC Coach of the Year, the 2007 Black College Baseball Coach of the Year and the 2007 SWAC Coach of the Year. Robertson began his coaching career at his high school alma mater Forest Brook where he led the Jaguars to the Class 4A State Championship Tournament. A 1987 graduate of Huston-Tillotson College, Robertson also received his Masters degree in Education from Prairie View A&M (1992).
