Lindsey enters his fourth season as the Head Track & Field and Cross Country coach and eighth season overall with the program working primarily with the sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers. Lindsey enjoyed a strong year in 2015-16, earning NJAC Coach of the Year honors for the womens cross country season. He began the year by leading both the mens and womens cross country programs to NJAC titles. It was the 22nd consecutive win for the men and 3rd consecutive for the women. Under Lindseys guidance, the Lions sent eight athletes to the cross country, indoor and outdoor NCAA championships in 2015-2016. For the cross country season, Andrew Tedeschi became the first male in eight years to compete at the NCAA XC Championships. Freshmen Kathleen Jaeger started her quest to become one of the all-time greats at 800m when she placed seventh in the 800m to earn All-American honors! During the outdoor season 6 lions competed in the NCAA Championships! Freshman Erin Holzbaur competed in the 3000m Steeplechase after breaking the school record to qualify. Sophomore Andrew McNutt made the triple jump final and placed 9th overall. The mens 4x400m relay, a team of 3 freshmen and a senior, placed 13th. In seven seasons Lindseys athletes have earned 52 All-American citations, 86 individual NJAC Champions, 50 school records and a national champion in the womens 100m (Miriam Khan). In addition to his success on the collegiate level Coach Lindsey guided his first professional athlete (former part-time Assistant Coach Ashhad Agyapong) to the 2011 Outdoor World Championships in Daegu, South Korea. Lindsey was named the 2010 National Womens Assistant Coach of the year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year for the teams tremendous accomplishments throughout the 2010 outdoor season. A 2002 graduate of Rider University with a B.A. in History, Lindsey was a 5 time all-east performer serving as team captain his junior and senior years. During his collegiate career he was a 17 time conference champion. No stranger to professional track and field, Lindsey has competed on the national and international scene for many years. He was a 2004 and 2008 Olympic trials qualifier in the 110 meter high hurdles. Lindsey is a three-time semi-finalist at the USA Indoor National Championships in the 60 meter high hurdles and has competed in many countries in Europe including Germany, Italy, Great Britain, and Belgium.
