Head Coach Was named the Head Coach of The Master's University XCTF programs on July 22, 2024. Won NAIA Cross Country Coach of the Year in 2024 after guiding the Lady Mustangs to the first NAIA National Championship in school history Rush coached Mustang senior Jack Anderson to an NAIA Cross Country individual title and two second-place finishes at NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Nationals in one of the best seasons for a TMU athlete in school history during the 2025-26 season.  Won GSAC titles for both men and women in cross country in 2024 and 2025, while the TMU men won the conference crown in 2024 by over 100 points. Athletic Career Awards: 3x All-American (2022, 2023 Track; 2023 XC) 2x GSAC 5,000 meter Champion (2021, 2022) 5x All-GSAC XC Team (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) GSAC/NAIA Scholar-Athlete (2021, 2022) 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-America® NAIA Men's Track & Field / Cross Country First Team GSAC XC Athlete of the Month (Sep. 2021) 2023-2024 (Graduate): Became one of the top runners in the NAIA with his 24:03 8000m at the Highlander Invitational... placed fourth at the GSAC XC Championships and earned an All-American award with his 12th place finish at the NAIA XC Championships. 2022-2023 (Senior): Despite dealing with injuries in the beginning of the season, Rush achieved a personal best in Cross Country of over 30 seconds at the Titan Invitational (24:19)... finished fourth at the GSAC XC Championships and 259th at the NAIA XC Championships... set personal bests in the 1500m (3:52), and 5000m (14:24)... finished seventh at the NAIA Outdoor Track Championships in the 5000m. 2021-2022 (Junior): Lowered his 8000m personal best to 24:53 with a fifth place finish at The Master’s University XC Invitational... placed third at the GSAC XC Championships and 55th at the NAIA XC Championships... had a breakout outdoor track season as he qualified for nationals in the 1500m (3:53), 5000m (14:28), and 10,000m (30:37)... defended his title in the GSAC 5000m and finished second in the 1500m... was a member of the 4x800m relay that finished fourth in the 5000m at the NAIA Outdoor Track Championships. 2020-21 (Sophomore): Cross Country… Placed seventh at the GSAC Championships (26:09) to earn All-GSAC honors for the second-straight year… Had his best race at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, finishing second in a time of 25:26.9… Finished 105th at the NAIA Championships (26:19.25)... Track & Field... Won the GSAC title in the 5000 meters in a time of 14:51.66… Finished 26th at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 5,000 meters (15:13.90). 2019-20 (Freshman): Cross Country.... Earned All-GSAC honors by finishing 14th at the GSAC Championships (26:47.9)... Ran a season-best time of 25:16.2 at the UCR 39th Annual Cross Country Invitational. Golden Valley HS (Santa Clarita, CA): Set the school record in the 3-mile with a time of 14 minutes, 27 seconds ... qualified for the California state cross country meet as a senior in 2018, finishing 54th in a 5K time of 16:05.8 ... finished third place individually at the highly-competitive Foothill League finals as a senior ... posted a 5K PR (15:29.2) at The Master's University XC Invitational on Sept. 29, 2018 ... in track and field, Rush advanced to the CIF Southern Section Division 2 prelims in the 3,200 in 2019 ... finished 15th in prelims with a time of 9:33.12.

Fonda Wilson

Head Coach

Highlights Wilson finished the 2025-26 season with a career record of 37-17 in her second season. In her first season as head coach, the Lady Mustangs went 19-9 and capped the season with a GSAC Tournament title and an NAIA Tournamet appearance.  Wilson was named head coach on June 6, 2024.  Before coming to TMU, Coach Wilson held high school coaching roles including Campbell Hall, Colony and most recently Alta Loma High School, while also pursuing her Master's in Theology.

Caleb Pouliot

Assistant Coach

Highlights:  Starts his second year of coaching TMU's track and field squad in 2026-27 Pouliot competed for TMU from 2021-2025 where he was a a two-time NAIA National Champion in the pole vault and he also earned six All-American awards across indoor and outdoor season. He was TMU's first All-American in the pole vault.  Pouliot also competed in the sprints and throws, winning the 110m hurdles in the 2025 GSAC Championship, in which he was named Overall Men's Performer of the Meet.

Josh Nunez

Assistant Coach

Coaching and Running Career He now enters his six year as an assistant for both track and field and cross country in 2026. Nunez completed his first year as an assistant coach with TMU's distance program in 2021-2022. He ran cross country and track & field at Master's for four years from 2016-2020. Earned All-GSAC honors in cross country his final three years, placing in the top-nine at the GSAC Championships each time. Served as TMU Men's Cross Country and Track & Field captain for a year. Received NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition on three occasions. Graduated Cum Laude from TMU in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing in finance and management.
