Dan Pippin
Head Coach
Dan Pippin enters his first season as head football coach in the 2026 campaign. Prior to joining the Night Hawks staff, His collegiate and professional career also includes multiple seasons coaching internationally with head coaching roles with he Lazio Ducks (2020–2022) in Rome, Italy, the Hungarian National Team of American Football (2022), the Lübeck Cougars (2023) in Germany, and most recently Pippin served as head coach of the Bialystok Lowlanders of the Polish Football League from 2024-2025. Polish Football League from 2024-2025. Domestically, Pippin held the title of Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at fellow SUN Conference member Webber International University in 2023. He spent the 2021 season as offensive coordinator at Rochester Community and Technical College, where his offense ranked second nationally in rushing and placed in the top five in several major offensive categories. Five players earned all-conference recognition under his leadership. Before coaching at the collegiate and professional levels, Pippin compiled a distinguished 30-year high school coaching career across Ohio, Michigan and South Carolina. He served 24 years as a head coach at Tawas Area (1996–2000), South Aiken (2000–2006), North Augusta (2006–2013), and Greenwood (2013–2019), amassing a career record of 170–93. He has been honored as Region, State and National Coach of the Year, and more than 124 of his former players have gone on to play college football, including five who reached the NFL. Pippin currently sits at 189 career head coaching wins overall across all levels. A 1990 graduate of Saint Joseph's College, Pippin was a three-year starter and team captain as a senior. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education and a Master's Degree in Divergent Learning. Dan and his wife Laura have three children, one son-in-law, and two granddaughters.

Jesse Schober
Assistant Coach
Jesse Schober is entering his second season with Thomas University Football. He will serve as the Chief of Staff while also coaching Running Backs and Tight Ends. He is also an Assistant Softball Coach at Thomas University. Schober reached Thomas University in a non-traditional route. He was drawn to TU due to its ties with the military. He retired from the United States Air Force after 13 years of service in 2024. Schober has been married to his high school sweetheart Logan for the last 15 years. They live with their two kids Emmalyne and Fitz in Cairo, GA.

Jones enters his first year with the Night Hawks in 2026, being named the Assistant Head Football Coach / Defensive Line Coach. Prior to joining the Night Hawks, Jones coached at Quincy University in his second stint as the Defensive Coordinator instructing their sprint football team (2025). Prior responsibilities at Quincy consisted of: Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator (2022 – 2023 & 2025), Defensive Line Coach and Film Coordinator (2025), Recruiting Coordinator (2023), Linebackers Coach (2022 – 2023), and Special Teams Coordinator 2022). In 2024, Coach Jones spent time as the Inside Linebackers Coach at the Division 1 FCS level at Mercyhurst University. Jones began his time on the sidelines at Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, MO. where he spent four seasons as an Assistant Football Coach. Prior responsibilities at Helias consisted of: Offensive Skill Position Intern (2018), Assistant Defensive Backs Coach (2019 – 2020), and Outside Linebackers Coach (2021 – 2022); and part of the undefeated State Championship team at Helias Catholic in 2020. Jones is a graduate of Lincoln University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (2018) while earning his Master's in Sport Management in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Liberty University (2021)

Andrew Moore

Andrew Moore enters his 13th season as a coach and his first at Thomas University, serving as the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach. Prior to joining the Thomas University staff, Moore served as the Defensive Passing Game Coordinator at the University of Rio Grande. Along with his coordinator duties, he also served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach. In his lone season with the Redstorm his unit finished top 3 in conference (AAC) when defending the pass. The first-year program also finished 2nd in the conference in total takeaways, while contributing to a defense that led the conference in fumbles forced. Coach Moore also helped develop the team’s lone All-Conference performer. Before taking over the secondary at the University of Rio Grande, Coach Moore led the defense at Kentucky Christian University. He was responsible for the Defensive Backs, while also serving as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football and Track athletes. Upon taking control of the defense, his unit set a new school record in sacks and finished 9th in the NAIA in the same category. Improving from 93rd the previous season. The defense also saw similarly large jumps in Defensive Scoring (5th from 94th), Fumbles recovered (1st from 88th) and improved the total rush defense from 83rd to a top 25 unit. Along with the unit improvements, he also developed the AAC Defensive Freshman of the Year, along with three other All-Conference performers. In his final season, four of his defensive players were able to use their individual development and success, paired with the unit’s improvements, to accept NCAA Division 2 opportunities. Coach Moore began his career in 2011 at Paul G. Blazer High School. Completing his Strength and Conditioning certification while doubling as a Running Backs and Linebackers Coach. Coach Moore helped develop the number #1 passing defense in the state in 2014. He spent one season at Boyd County High School, where he served as the Outside Linebackers and Running Backs Coach. He then moved to Fairview High School as the Offensive Coordinator. Producing a top 10 passing offense in 1A. From there, he moved to Raceland-Worthington High School, serving as the Wide Receivers Coach and a Strength and Conditioning Coach. In his lone season on staff, the Rams went 13-2. Finishing as the state runner-up in Class A. Producing the top three scoring WR’s in the class.

Cody Rachatellelle enters his first year with Thomas in 2026, being named the Linebackers Coach. Prior to joining the Night Hawks, Rachatellelle coached at Quincy University (IL) in his role as the Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers and Recruiting Coordinator on the sprint football team (2025-26). Coaching an All - American & All - Conference players. In 2024, Coach Rachatellelle spent time as the Assistant Linebackers Coach & Assistant Special Team Coach at Hardin - Simmons University (TX). Worked with All - American & Multiple All Conference Linebackers. In 2023, Coach Rachatellelle joined Saint James School in Montgomery, AL. As an Assistant Football Coach. In 2022, Coach Rachatellelle Worked with Huntingdon College (AL) as an Student Assistant. In 2021, worked with Hickman High School (MO). Rachatellelle played at Westminster College (MO) then transferred to where he played and graduated from Huntingdon College (AL) with a Bachelor's in Sport Management (2023). Cody and Wife Cameran Have One Child.
