Caminitis team also received the PSAC Sportsmanship Award. The award is given to the team that best exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship and who has demonstrated the values of respect and integrity through a specific action ideally directed toward an opponent. The team earned this award in the wake of a horrible bus accident that involved Seton Hill University's Womens Lacrosse team. The accident injured numerous team members and killed head coach Kristina Quigley and her unborn son. The fundraiser, which accumulated over $10,000, was created for Coach Quigleys surviving husband and son. Before coming to Tiffin, Lauren also was the Director of Girls Lacrosse at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, PA. There, Caminiti was solely responsible for the Lacrosse Academy system, implementing successful camps and clinic programs, managing and hosting tournaments, creating consistent lacrosse leagues, and advertising ideas for upcoming programming.
