Chris Campbell
Assistant Coach
Campbell will begin his 10th season as Transylvania's head baseball coach in 2015-16. He has guided the Pioneers through the most successful era of the program's history. The team had six players named to the HCAC All-Conference team in 2015, after having an impressive year in the field. The Pioneers committed the fewest errors in the league and led the conference in fielding percentage (.964). A Transy alum and former player, Campbell has posted a career record of 146-90 (61.8 percent), including a 78-56 (58.2 percent) mark in Heartland Conference play. He has won one HCAC regular season championship and one tournament title that led to an appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship in 2008. In his first two years as Transy's head coach, Campbell has led the Pioneers to their two highest single-season victory totals, compiling an overall record of 60-26 (69.7 percent) and a 31-13 mark in Heartland Conference play (70.4 percent). Transy won the HCAC regular season title in 2007 and captured the HCAC tournament and the school's first berth in the NCAA Division III Championship tournament in 2008. Transy won a school record 31 games during a 31-14 campaign in 2008 and finished fourth in the HCAC with a 15-7 mark, earning a third-straight appearance in the HCAC tournament. In 2007, the Pioneers were 29-12 record, 16-6 in Heartland Conference play. After guiding the Pioneers to their first HCAC regular season title in his first season at the helm, Campbell was named HCAC Coach of the Year. A 2000 Transy graduate, Campbell played baseball for the Pioneers. He has been a member of the Pioneers' baseball staff since 2004 and he has played or coached for Transy teams that have posted the six best records in the modern history of the baseball program. In 2006, Campbell was an assistant for a team that qualified for the HCAC tournament for the first time in school history and finished second in the HCAC regular season race for just the second time. The Pioneers set numerous team and individual records in 2004, Campbell's first season on the staff, a year highlighted by the first winning season in the modern history of the baseball program. Transy's 28-11 overall record was the first winning mark since baseball returned to Transy as a varsity sport in 1996 and the first winning season since 1963. The 28 wins were the all-time school record prior to the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Transy also finished second in the HCAC with a 13-8 mark in 2004. An infielder, Campbell was a four-year letterman for Transylvania, hitting a career-best .344 as a senior team captain. A native of Lexington, Campbell is a graduate of Lafayette High School. He graduated from Transylvania with a degree in business administration.

Jim Bray
Assistant Coach
Bray enters his third year as an assistant coach with the Transylvania womens basketball team and his fifth year as an assistant coach with Juli Fulks. Alongside Fulks at both Lewis & Clark and Transylvania, Bray has been part of some of the most successful seasons at both programs; Transylvania won the HCAC Conference crown in 2014-15, while the Lewis & Clark Pioneers won the Northwest Conference regular season title in 2012-2013.
