Leavy has led the Trojans to a 14-16-1 record in G-MAC contests. Leavy set the Trevecca wins record as a coach Sept. 13, 2013 when TNU defeated Trinity International University, who is coached by Leavy's former college coach Gilliam, 3-2 in double overtime. The previous Trevecca record, 30 career wins, was held by Jeff Carr. The 2015 Trojans finished with seven wins, five of those in G-MAC conference play. The Trojans were eliminated from the G-MAC tournament in a double-overtime loss to Ohio Valley University. During the 2014 season, Leavy led the Trojans to five wins, three of which were G-MAC conference wins. The Trojans earned their way to the Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship quarterfinals. Leavy coached Noah Mudd to garner G-MAC Freshmen of the Year honors as well as Jeremiah Wright, Juan Egas, and Brayden Brown to All-Conference first team. Bruno De Moraes and Ryan Walls made All-Conference second team. In 2013, Leavy guided his team to eight wins, with five of those coming in G-MAC play. The Trojans qualified for the Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament as well. Leavy coached Jeremiah Wright to G-MAC Freshman of the Year honors. Wright tallied nine goals and seven assists and finished with the fifth-highest point total in TNU single season history (25). Also during the season, for the first time in Trevecca history, midfielder Connor Inman was named to the Capitol One Academic All American team. In the fall of 2011 and 2012, have each produced nine wins, which equals the second most wins in a season at Trevecca. During the , Athletic Conference era the Trojans have earned several awards for Leavy and the program. He has one G-MAC first team selection and six named to the second team. Two of his student-athletes have been voted a Capitol One Academic All-District player. There have been four G-MAC players of the week. He has produced three players on the G-MAC all-freshmen team. During the transition to the NCAA Division II level, Leavy saw five of his players earn NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors. Prior to the move to NCAA Division II and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, Leavys first three teams produced several individual honors as members of the NAIA and the TranSouth Athletic Conference. There were 26 TranSouth scholar-Athlete honors and two NAIA scholar-athlete honors. Four times a player was named the TranSouth defensive player of the week. There was a first team All-TranSouth honoree and three players made the second team. Leavy's coaching experience includes a head coaching stop at Cincinnati (Ohio) Christian University from 2000-2002. There he was named the NCCAA DII Mid-East Regional Coach of the Year after leading his team to the NCCAA DII Mid-East Regional Championship and a NCCAA DII No. 8 final ranking. He was an assistant at Muskingum College from 2002-2006 before being tipped to start the men's soccer program at Ohio Christian University in 2006. From 2007-2008 he served as the Director of Coaching at Pride Soccer Club in Colorado Springs, Colo. There he oversaw 30 teams. His latest venture was serving with On Goal Ministries in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, he has a wealth of club team coaching experience. Leavy graduated from Trinity International (Chicago, Ill.) in 2000 with a bachelor of arts degree in Christian ministries. He earned his masters of arts in education from Muskingum College (Ohio) in 2005. Additionally, he is credited with a Premier from the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of aMERICA) and a Fitness in Football (soccer) Level 1 accreditations from English FA. He played collegiately at DII Colorado Christian University and NAIA Trinity International University. Trevecca had a men's soccer program for one season during the 1991-1992 school year. Jon Curtis coached the team that season. Trevecca hired Stan Herod to bring back men's soccer for the 2000-2001 school year. Herod led the program for four seasons prior to Jeff Carr, who is now at Brevard Community College in Florida.
