Coach
Sean Pearson was named the offensive line coach at the University at Albany in January 2026, bringing proven offensive line development experience at the Power Four, Group of Five, and FCS levels to the Capital Region. He has built a reputation for producing tight-knit, physical offensive lines and developing strong leaders and team captains who drive team success from the trenches. Pearson’s offensive lines supported Patriot League Offensive MVP quarterback Ralph Rucker and Offensive Rookie of the Year running back Tariq Thomas, while delivering the program’s most efficient rushing seasons in over a decade. Along the offensive line, Pearson accelerated player development at a high level. He developed walk-on offensive lineman John Ohnegian into a two-time All-Patriot League selection and Top-5 graded FCS center (PFF).
