With over 20 years of coaching experience in the collegiate ranks, D'Albora joined the Golden Bears in 2023 after spending 1 season as the assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator for Holy Names in the school and program's final year. In his sole season at HNU the Hawks completed their best season in program history, breaking the record for wins in a single season and achieving their first birth in postseason play. Prior to his stint at HNU, D'Albora served as the head coach at Los Medanos College for 11 years. D'Albora led the Mustangs to its first Bay Valley Conference Championship in 2019 as well as titles in a shortened COVID Season in 2021 and in the 2022 season. LMC went on to qualify for the California Junior College playoffs eight times during D'Albora's tenure, a Mustang record. D'Albora has coached over a hundred players who have moved on to play at the four-year and professional levels, including two players and three current coaches in the Cal baseball program. Before his time at LMC, D'Albora spent three seasons at the University of San Francisco as a volunteer assistant coach. Those responsibilities ranged from baseball operations to broadcasting. D'Albora also spent time working with the Junior Dons Baseball Academy. He earned his master's in sports management at USF. D'Albora, an East Bay native, began his coaching career at Chico State, his alma mater, in 2005. He spent four seasons working with the hitters and pitchers as an assistant coach under both Lindsey Meggs and Dave Taylor. D'Albora was a part of the Division II College World Series teams in 2005 and 2006 that played in Montgomery, Alabama. The 2006 Chico State team finished as the national runner up at the College World Series. D'Albora received his Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communications with a minor in broadcasting.
