Tee earned UAA Men's Tennis Coaching Staff of the Year and ITA Central Region Men's Coach of the Year. Six of his male players were named All-UAA, including UAA Rookie of the Year Nicolas Chua. Megan Tang was named ITA Central Region Senior Player of the Year, while Ariana Iranpour and Nicolas Chua were named ITA Central Region Rookies of the Year. Both the men's and women's squads qualified for the NCAA Team Championships. Three of his players were picked to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships - Tang, Iranpour and Chua. The Maroon men finished in fourth place at the NCAAs for their highest national placing ever. In 2013-14, the Maroons women's tennis team reached the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Megan Tang, Tiffany Chen and Deepak Sabada were picked to participate in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships as well. In 2012-13, the UChicago women's team posted an 18-6 record and reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. The men's squad compiled a 14-5 record on the season. Megan Tang, Helen Sdvizhkov and Deepak Sabada earned selection to the NCAAs as well. Tee spent four seasons as the assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Cleveland State University. In his four years at CSU, the men's team won three-consecutive Horizon League titles and advanced to the NCAA tournament each time. The women's team also enjoyed much success, setting a school record for victories and reaching the Horizon League finals in each of the past two seasons. In addition to the success enjoyed by the teams, Tee helped to mentor several First and Second Team All-Conference performers, including Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, Matt Kuelker. Tee was a member of the CSU men's team from 2002-06 and compiled more than 40 wins in singles, playing mostly at the No. 2 position. He is ranked 10th on the all-time singles wins list at CSU and recorded a 58-46 doubles mark, playing mostly at the No. 1 position. The 2002-03 Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, Tee was selected to the All-Horizon League team four times throughout his tenure at Cleveland State. He also served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a senior. Tee graduated from CSU in 2007 with a degree in history and served as an Assistant Tennis Professional at Lake Toxaway Country Club in North Carolina in 2007. He then held the position of Director of Junior Development at the Asheville Racquet and Fitness Club from 2007-09.
