Coach Bill Himmelberg enters his seventh year as the Lady Argos head coach after leading the Lady Argos to their 2nd consecutive appearance in Elite Eight at the NAIA national tournament. Under Himmelberg leadership the Lady Argos have a school record 98 wins and  broken more than a twenty four different school records. In the 2015-16 season the program reach the frontier conference championship game finishing with 24 victories tying a school records for wins set in 2014-15.  Awarded a No. 5 seed at the NAIA National tournament, the Lady Argos upset No.4 seed Central Methodist (Mo) 70-58 and No. 1 seed Lyon (Ark) 60-50 to reach the Elite Eight.  Senior guard Erin Legel earned her third nod on the Frontier Conference first team, while junior post Nneka Nnadi was second team honoree. Legel earned honorable mention All-American honors from the WBCA and was named a second team All-American by the NAIA and All-Tournament 1st team at the NAIA national tournament. Nnadi was named Honorable mention All-American by the NAIA. More impressive than Coach Himmelberg achievements on the court is his high academic standards for his team. The program's emphasis on academics helped his team achieve the highest team grade point average in the nation during 2011 (3.65). The Lady Argos have been in the WBCA to 25 for academics all six year Himmelberg has guided the program. Coach Himmelberg has coached three All-Americans players, six All-Frontier Conference players, one Frontier Conference Freshman of the Year, and one sixth man of the year. Prior to being a head coach at UGF Himmelberg was the lead assistant at UGF for 3 years, prior to that he coached at C.M. Russell High School as a varsity assistant and sophomore head coach. He was the head coach of the Great Falls Home School team from 1994-1999. He had an impressive 118-39 record and fifth-place finish in the National Tournament with two state champioships. Himmelberg also coached the Treasure State Academy team and finished his tenure there with a 92-31 record. Himmelberg has been the owner-operator of McDonald's of Great Falls since 1993. His vast experience includes 30 years of business and reinvestment planning.
