Joey Egan
Head Coach
Egan enters her fifth year as the softball head coach. She has spent eight seasons on the staff including five as an assistant coach. Egan's 2015 team advanced to the semifinals of the Cascade/Frontier Conference Tournament and finished the season with a 28-18 record. Her 2013 and 2014 teams were each a game away from the NAIA National Tournament. The Lady Argonauts finished 17-17 in 2014 and were 26-17 in 2013. Egan played collegiately at NCAA Division II Montana State University - Billings where she racked up numerous awards. She was a second-team All-PacWest Conference honoree in 2002 and 2003. Egan earned first-team accolades and second-team All-Region honors in 2004. During her senior year Egan was a first-team pick, the conference pitcher of the year, a second-team All-West Region pick, and named to the NCAA Division II West Region All-Tournament Team. She was also the MSU-B female athlete of the year and Little Sullivan Award winner in 2005. In 2011 Egan was inducted into the MSU-Billings Athletic Hall of Fame. The daughter of UGF athletic director Gary Ehnes, Joey is married to Teague Egan. They have two children.
