Tim Loeffler
Head Coach
Loeffler was hired as UIC's head men's and women's swim coach on June 3, 2014. Loeffler spent this past season as an assistant coach at Army where he helped the men's team claim runner-up honors in the Patriot League Championships. Prior to his time at West Point, Loeffler served four years as the assistant coach at Michigan State where he worked primarily with the middle distance and distance freestyle swimmers. Loeffler also gained valuable experience as the Spartan's lead recruiter and director of summer camps. While in East Lansing, Loeffler helped the Spartans achieve tremendous success in the pool, guiding several athletes to the NCAA Championships. In the winter of 2013, he helped MSU's men's team place fourth at the U.S. Nationals. Loeffler was a two-year letterwinner for Minnesota and was a member of its 2005 and 2007 Big Ten Championship squads. He holds numerous top-20 times for the Golden Gophers in the 1,000 and 1,650 free along with the 200 butterfly. He graduated from Minnesota in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Strategic and Analytical Communications. The Elmhurst, Ill., native also served two years as a student assistant for Minnesota from 2007-09.

Mike Tubb
Assistant Coach
Tubb was a letterwinner for Rider from 2007-12 and helped lead the Broncs to their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship since 2004 while serving as the team's captain in his final two seasons. Tubb holds place in the record book with the fifth-best time in the 100 breast and sixth-best time in the 200 breast, while he is a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay record-holding teams. After graduating from Rider, Tubb began his coaching career at Division III Rowan, where he served as the assistant coach. Tubb helped RU to a second-place finish in the New Jersey Athletic Conference and a fourth-place finish at the Metropolitan Swimming Championships. Tubb returned to Rider as the team's volunteer assistant coach for the 2013-14 season, when the men's team won its third-consecutive MAAC Championship and the women's team collected a second-place finish for the fourth year in a row. Tubb received his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies in addition to his master's degree in Education Administration from Rider.

Susan Bromberg
Coach
Bromberg enters her ninth season as the head diving coach for the UIC swimming and diving program. She holds over 20 years of coaching experience in the Chicagoland area. Bromberg was named the Horizon League Women's Diving Coach of the Year in 2013. During that season, Bromberg coached sophomore Whitney Johnson to become the Diver of the Meet at the Horizon League Championships, the schools first since 2000. Under Brombergs tutelage, Johnson became the first diver in UIC history to compete in the NCAA Zone C Championships all four years and was named one of UICs Top 50 Womens Athletes of the past 50 years. During the 2014-15 season, Bromberg sent four divers to the Zone C Championships and in total she has sent eight different divers to the Championships. Bromberg had previously served as the diving coach for Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Ill., for seven years. While at Lake Forest College, she had divers earn 14 NCAA All-American Awards and nine Midwest Conference Champions. She was named the NCAA Division III Women's Coach of the Year in 2006. Prior to her position at Lake Forest, Bromberg served as the diving coach at Highland Park High School for a decade. She also spent time at Deerfield, Regina Dominican and Maine East High Schools. Bromberg is a member of the Rules Committee and the Member Services Committee for USA Diving. She is a USA Diving Zone D representative on the Governance Committee and is a FINA Certified Judge. In December 2014, Bromberg judged the Senior Nationals and in May 2015 was a judge for the World Championships Selection Meet to help begin their selection for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. She has served on the NCAA Division III diving selection committee for three years. She also presides over the Illinois Diving Association as president since 2004. In 1997, Bromberg co-founded the Windy City Diving Team, where she serves as one of the head coaches. This team attracts divers from all over the Chicago area and competes across the nation. Numerous Flames have competed with Windy City Diving, including current Flames Rachel Criscione, Tyler Pastore and Mark Ciesielski. Under Brombergs watch, the team has produced two national champions and decorated diver Christina Loukas, who qualified for the USA Diving Junior National Team and, later, the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Teams. The Windy City Diving Team has developed close to 200 IHSA state meet qualifiers, over 60 state meet finalists and seven state champions. The team has seen many divers compete at the USA Diving Region and Zone meets and have had several divers earn entry for the USA Diving Junior and Senior National Championship Meets. A 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Bromberg earned her degree in Health Education.
