Greg Stocks

Head Coach

Greg Stocks knows how to build lacrosse programs, that much is obvious.  After starting the UIndy men's lacrosse program from the ground up in 2015, Stocks has led the Greyhounds to eight winnings seasons, five NCAA tournament berths, and three GLVC titles, including an appearance in the 2019 national semifinal. UIndy became the fastest program to win multiple NCAA tournament games, downing Queens (NC) and Belmont Abbey in overtime to advance to the semifinal round. Stocks was named USILA National Coach of the Year in 2019, in addition to the GLVC top honor. He also shared the league award in 2023. UIndy also advanced to the national quarterfinals in 2021 as the No. 5 seed and 2023 as the No. 6 seed. The British Columbia native has helped produce nine All-America recipients, including Kyle Basch, Drew Billig, Dougie Crawford, Brendan Hackl, Josh Jackson, Matthew Johnson, Jarod Kimble, Shawn Kimble, and Parker Kump. Stocks led the Greyhounds to their first conference title in 2018, as UIndy downed Young Harris in the GLVC Championship Tournament final game. It was the first time the Hounds won double-digit contests, with Stocks leading the team to a regular-season final win at Limestone. Prior to joining the Greyhounds, Stocks held a similar role at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, starting LEC's first-ever men's lacrosse program in 2007. He built the program from the ground up, and was responsible for all aspects of the team's development. Lake Erie claimed their first-ever ECAC title in 2014, a season after leading the Storm to their first NCAA tournament appearance. Stocks is a 2006 graduate of Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in business. Upon graduation, he served as an assistant at Lycoming College where he was instrumental in the Warrior’s offensive game planning. He also served as an assistant for one season at Wingate University. A native of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, Stocks played lacrosse at SUNY-Potsdam for two years and then at Mercyhurst for his final two seasons. As an attacker his senior season, the Lakers won the East Coast Conference (ECC) and were a national semifinalist. Greg and his wife Jillian, along with their daughter, reside in Indianapolis with their dog Russell. Austin Grimes

Associate Head Coach

Austin Grimes completed his eighth season on the Greyhound sideline in 2024 and was elevated to Associate Head Coach over the summer. Grimes has helped coach the Greyhound to five straight NCAA tournament berths and three GLVC titles, including the program's trip to the national semifinal in 2019. He came to the Circle City from Oberlin College, where he spent the 2016 season as the school's defensive coordinator. During his year with Oberlin, the Yeoman held opponents to a .279 shot percentage and caused 120 turnovers, fourth-best in the conference. Prior to his stint in Ohio, Grimes helped his alma mater, Wheeling Jesuit, as an assistant coach for three years while completing his Master of Business Administration. The Cardinals had a top-20 ranked defense each of his three seasons on the sidelines, including the 2014 campaign when Wheeling Jesuit ranked 10th in defense, second in man-down defense, and first in clearing percentage among all Division II programs. Grimes also mentored six All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) honorees and an honorable mention All-American. As a student-athlete, Grimes was voted Team Captain by his coaches and teammates for his senior season (2012), and ended up earning All-ECAC honors. A native of Hartland, Wisconsin, Grimes has also served as the head coach for the U-13 Golden Eagle Elite Lacrosse Team and volunteered with the Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity.

Caleb Mulcahy

Assistant Coach

Caleb Mulcahy begins his first season on the Greyhound bench in 2025. A four-year FOGO at DII Belmont Abbey College from 2021-24, the South Lyon, Mich., native secured 64 percent (669 for 1,045) at the faceoff dot over four seasons. A two-time Conference Carolinas First Team selection, Mulcahy also totaled 19 points on six goals and 13 assists, while scooping up 459 ground balls.
