Courtney Trimble
Assistant Coach
Trimble, one of the most decorated student-athletes in Auburn history, earned All-America status in 2002, was a three-time all-Southeastern Conference honoree, and helped lead her squad to a national runner-up finish. She continued her career at the professional ranks, making the cut for the 2004 U.S. Women's Open, competed on the Future Tour for more than two years, and logged four top-five finishes. Because of her advanced understanding of the game, Trimble is a step ahead of the curve in terms of student-athlete development. She has produced five all-conference selections in just two seasons, including Emily Haas, who Trimble helped guide to unanimous all-BIG EAST honors and become one of 10 golfers selected to play for the NCAA All-Stars in 2013. In her first stop as a head coach at UCF from 2009-12, Trimble guided the program to its first NCAA Championship appearance in school history. She coached student-athletes to all-conference distinctions on six occasions along with molding Katie Mitchell into the Conference USA Freshman of the Year. In addition to the achievements on the course, Trimble's teams have displayed in impeccable record in the classroom. At Louisville, her squads twice have been recognized by the NCAA for being in the top 10 percent in women's golf for APR and also received the 2013 BIG EAST Conference Team Academic Excellence Award for women's golf. Individually, she has overseen nine Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars through her first two seasons. Trimble first entered the coaching ranks as an assistant at Auburn, where she assisted the Tigers with attaining two SEC Championships (2006, 2009), four NCAA East Regional berths, and three NCAA Championship appearances. A Duluth, Ga., native, Trimble received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Auburn in 2002. She was a four-year letterwinner on the women's golf team and is one of five student-athletes at Auburn to play in every tournament over their career. She is married to Billy Trimble, and the couple has one son, Owen. Head Coach Fourth May 13 Bachelor's Degree (Auburn, '02) Duluth, Ga.
