Jason Borchin

Head Coach

Jason Borchin, who helped lead Cal Poly Women's Volleyball to back-to-back Big West titles and an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance in 2025, has been named the next Nevada Women's Volleyball head coach, was named the next Nevada Volleyball head coach on December 29,. 2025. Borchin spent 10 years and nine seasons (the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) over two separate stints at Cal Poly, serving as assistant coach from 2015-17, then returning to the Mustangs from 2019-25, serving as recruiting coordinator that whole period and adding the associate head coach title in 2025. During Borchin's tenure in San Luis Obispo, the Mustangs posted a combined 184-86 record with two Big West regular-season titles, two runners-up, and five third-place finishes in the standings along with three NCAA Tournament appearances (2017, 2019, 2025). The Mustangs picked up at least one win in each of those three postseason appearances, most recently scoring upsets of No. 5 seed BYU and No. 4 seed USC in Los Angeles to reach the Sweet 16 in Lexington, Kentucky. Cal Poly finished Big West play with a winning record in each of the nine seasons with Borchin on staff, going 120-38 including a perfect 16-0 mark in 2017. Since the advent of the Big West Women's Volleyball Championship in 2023, the Mustangs have gone 4-2 at the event and won the title in 2025. Between his stints at Cal Poly, Borchin spent the 2018 season on the staff at Notre Dame. Prior to his first stint with the Mustangs, Borchin began his collegiate coaching career as a volunteer assistant with Sacramento State in 2007 and became a full-time assistant coach in 2010. In 2007, the Hornets went 29-8, capturing the Big Sky tournament title and defeating Minnesota in the NCAA Tournament First Round at Stanford. In addition to his indoor coaching duties, Borchin also served as co-head coach of the Sacramento State beach volleyball program for its first three seasons (2013-15). Borchin coached club volleyball in the Sacramento area for 10 years and was the head coach of the Northern California Volleyball Club (NCVC) Girls 18s team that earned a fifth-place finish at the Junior Nationals in Dallas. His club head coaching background began during the 2005-06 season with the High Impact Girls 14s team. A native of Roseville, Calif. and a graduate of Oakmont High School, Borchin boasts a total of 18 years of coaching experience between the intercollegiate, high school and club levels. Borchin's collegiate playing career included two seasons with the Hornets, earning All-Big Sky first-team and team MVP honors in 2006 and was a second-team all-conference selection in 2007. He then transferred to Pacific, where he played in 86 career matches from 2008-10 and was consistently among the team's top five players in kills, finishing his playing career with 611 kills, 423 digs, 142 blocks and 59 aces. Borchin graduated from Pacific in 2010 with a degree in sports sciences.

Kendall McManamon

Assistant Coach

Kendall McManamon comes to Nevada from UC Davis where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.  Prior to UC Davis, McManamon was a volunteer assistant coach at Oregon, where she helped the Ducks to their best record (22-9) since 2012 and coached their first Pacific North Region Player of the Year in Brooke Nuneviller. She also spent a year coaching at Willamette University, where the team garnered the Volleyball Team Academic Award from the AVCA, and she helped coach five player of the week honorees. McManamon began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Pacific University in 2019. The Boxers nabbed their first-ever AVCA Player of the Week and had 4 NWC all-conference selections. The Phoenix, Arizona native competed at North Idaho College, Arizona Christian University and Northwest Christian University. As a freshman, North Idaho went on to finish ninth at the NJCAA National Tournament and as a senior at Northwest Christian, she served as a team captain and one of her top performances came against nationally-ranked Corban, where she had 19 kills.  McManamon graduated from Northwest Christian in December 2016 with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in business, marketing, and psychology.

Emme Bullis

Assistant Coach

Emme Bullis joins the Pack after graduating from Cal Poly where she spent her entire collegiate career. Bullis helped lead the team to a 28-8 overall record, 14-4 conference record, a Big West Tournament title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2025. The Mustangs made a run to the Sweet 16, defeating No. 5 BYU (3-2) and No. 4 USC (3-2) on the opening weekend before falling at top-seed Kentucky (3-0) at the Lexington Regional. In her redshirt senior season, Bullis played in 126 sets for 121 points, 65 kills, 300 digs and 50 blocks. During the 2024 season, Bullis surpassed 3,000 career set assists, only accomplished by seven other Mustangs. She earned Big West Setter of the Week three times, All-Big West Second Team and All-Academic honoree. In the 2023 season, Bullis earned All-Big West Volleyball Honors and was named Big West Setter of the Week once. She averaged 7.41 assists per set and 2.00 digs per set. After redshirting her freshman season, Bullis came back to play in 29 of the 30 matches at setter, playing in 110 of 112 sets. She earned All-Big West Honorable Mention as well as Big West All-Freshman Team honors. She was named Big West Setter of the Week four times and Big West Freshman of the Week once. Bullis led the team and was third in the Big West in assists per set at 10.05. Bullis is originally from Whitewater, Wisconsin and attended Whitewater High School.

Ryan Hargreaves joined Nevada Athletics as Assistant Athletics Director, A/V and Information Technology in August 2023. In this role, Hargreaves oversees all technical aspects of Wolf Pack facilities, including Mackay Stadium and Lawlor Events Center. Hargreaves has also spent time with Encore Event Technologies since 2016, serving as a project manager before his most recent role as director of event technology.
