University of New England Women's Cross Country

Ouellette has been voted CCC Coach of the Year seven times (six on the women's side), coming in 2006, 2011 (both), 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. The women's squad was victorious on five occasions during 2015 -- the highest total under Ouellette, and continuing a streak of now five seasons with multiple wins, which had not been achieved previously. In a historically strong and deep region of teams, Big Blue has progressed to the point of annually challenging for a spot in the NCAA championship field. The men's team has run to 11 consecutive top-3 finishes at the CCC Championship race, including four runner-up showings from 2010-2013. Beyond the conference race, the program posted multiple-win campaigns in both 2014 and 2015. Ouellette has more than 25 years of coaching experience under his belt, on top of the collegiate level, working with outdoor track, indoor track, cross country, and football at Biddeford High School during various points in his career. He recently retired from 36 years of teaching at BHS. Ouellette attained bachelor's degrees in mathematics and history from Colby College in 1975. The Biddeford native and his wife, Kathy, reside locally and have two grown children.
