Todd Erwin
Head Coach
Erwin's fourth as the head coach for the Puget Sound men's and women's golf teams. Erwin comes with a strong instructional background and firm roots in the Northwest. He currently works as the Director of Instruction at the Tacoma Firs Golf Center. He has worked in that role since November of 2006. He also performed similar duties at the Performance Golf Center in Gig Harbor, Wash. from February of 1998 to September 2006. His instructional career began in January 1989 when he became the Assistant Golf Professional at Centerwood Golf and Country Club. He moved on to become a Teaching Professional at the Southcenter Driving Range in 1997. Throughout his career, he has helped nearly two dozen high school golfers continue their careers into the collegiate and professional ranks. "Todd is one of the most trusted instructors in the area, especially for young adults, so we are delighted he will be joining our program," stated Director of Athletics Amy Hackett. Erwin also has extensive playing experience, competing professionally for over 20 years. He turned professional in 1984 and became a member of the PGA in 1993. In 1987-88, he played on the Canadian Tour and won the Canadian Order of Merit in 1988. He has won multiple golf championships in the Northwest, including four Washington Open Championships, and is a 12-time Hudson Cup member. His playing career also includes two appearances in the US Open in 1990 and 1993. Erwin attended Weber State for four years, where he was a member of the men's golf team and studied business before making the decision to become a professional golfer.

Conner Robbins
Head Coach
Conner Robbins is entering his sixth season leading the University of Puget Sound golf program, a year defined by milestones and growth for the Loggers. Under his leadership, the 2025-26 season proved to be a banner year, especially for the women's team, securing multiple victories and individual awards. In the fall of 2025, the women's team secured their first-ever tournament victory at the PLU Invitational carding a team score of 690 (+114). The momentum continued into April 2026 at the Wildcat Invitational, where the Loggers claimed another team title with a score of 672. Kira Goode earned medalist honors. In his first season, Robbins helped guide Reynn Hoshide ’22 to his second career All-Northwest honor. Hoshide also won Puget Sound's Richard Ulrich Award for Leadership, while Georgia Lavinder receiver the athletic department's Paul & Helen Perdue Award for Community Service. From competing to instructing, Robbins has deep ties in the golf community throughout the West Coast. Robbins competed collegiately at the University of Washington, where he was a two-year captain for the NCAA D-I program. Since then, Robbins has competed professionally for several years as a Canadian Tour member. He was previously the Director of Instruction and Coaching at North Shore Golf Course in Tacoma. Robbins' prior experience includes serving as a golf professional at the PGA West Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, and working at Trophy Lake Golf Course in Port Orchard. Robbins is a 2003 graduate of the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science degree while majoring in sociology.
