Francis Reynolds

Coach

Reynolds joined the University of Puget Sound coaching staff in the fall of 2010, following a four-year career as a Logger. Hailing from Palo Alto, California, Reynolds was quick to make an impact on both the mens cross country and track and field teams.  In his cross country career, he was a two time NWC Champion, and earned three trips to the NCAA Championships. Reynolds earned All-American honors both his junior and senior year, making him only the second Logger to accomplish such a feat.  On the track, he was runner up twice in the 10,000 meter run at the NWC Championships, before finally winning his senior year. His 30:41 ranks No. 3 on the UPS all time list in the event. Reynolds is also the school record holder in the indoor 5,000 meter run with a time of 14:42. His junior year, Reynolds was awarded the Dill Howell Award for Most Improved Male Athlete amongst Puget Sound student-athletes. Reynolds graduated with a degree in music with an emphasis in business and is currently pursuing a Masters in Arts and Teaching from the Puget Sound graduate school. In his spare time, he enjoys a-cappella music, running local road races and watching San Francisco Giants baseball.
