Alexander Head Women's Golf Coach Tim Alexander didnt waste any time having an impact on the University of Saint Francis golf program. The former golf assistant at Autumn Ridge Golf Club and at Tri-State University helped the women's team stroke average drop 13 shots and the men dropped their team stroke average 10 shots in Fall 2013. Over his next two seasons, Alexander teams have fashioned a head-to-head record of 135-51. His teams have broken five school records, which includes breaking their own records. Alexander believes firmly in a team approach on the course as well as in the classroom. His proudest accomplishment is that his women's team combined GPA is 3.58 for three years. Tim learned the game from one of Indianas best Todd Smith, who dominated the Indiana Section from 1991-2001 winning IPGA Player of the Year nine times during those 11 years. Alexander has given over 1,000 golf lessons, played in three Indiana State Opens making the cut in two. Alexander worked for Smith at Honeywell Golf Course in the early 1990s. Tim is the celebrity coordinator for the Neal/Delagrange Celebrity Golf Tournament and is involved with The Never Lose Hoop Foundation" (formerly The Hulls Foundation). Tim is also involved in many other non-for profit organizations. Tim also played tennis at Wabash High School and was a two-time No. 1 singles champion in the Central Indiana Conference.
