University of Scranton Women's Lacrosse

Wilson is the fourth head coach in the women's lacrosse program's 15-year history. In four seasons as the Royals' head coach, she has led the team to four straight Landmark Conference playoff berths, including an appearance in the title game in 2016. In that season, Wilson led the Royals to an 11-7 overall record, matching the most wins for the program since 2005, when the team went 12-5. In her first season in 2013, she led the Royals to an 9-6 overall record and a berth in the Landmark Conference tournament. Scranton returned to the Landmark Conference tournament once again in 2014 and 2015. Wilson's efforts haven't gone unnoticed. She was voted Landmark Conference Co-Coach of the Year in 2013, sharing the award with Susquehanna's Laura Moan. Thirteen of Wilson's players have earned All-Landmark Conference honors, and five have been named All-Boardwalk Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).   A 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University, Wilson came to Scranton after spending three seasons as assistant coach at Muhlenberg College in nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her time with the Mules, Wilson assisted head coach Kristen Stuckel with daily coaching duties, as well as monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, recruiting prospective student-athletes, fundraising, game preparation and scouting opponents. The Mules posted 21 victories during Wilsons three years with the program as well as producing eight All-Centennial Conference players and two All-Metro region selections. She also served as interim head coach from August to November 2011, and in 2012 she also worked as the assistant to the strength and conditioning coach. Wilson, who has a bachelors degree in business administration from Susquehanna University and a masters degree in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania, was a four-year letter-winner (2006-09) for the Crusaders. She was a two-year captain (2008, 2009) and mainstay in the midfield, helping the Crusaders post 24 wins while finishing her career with 11 goals in 49 games played. A native of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Wilson was named second-team All-Landmark Conference in 2008, as well as Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll recipient the same season. A certified lacrosse official since 2007, Wilson has also served as a club lacrosse coach in the Allentown area and has worked youth lacrosse camps there in recent years. She began her coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach at Midd-West High School in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. Trescavage's Royals advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row after they defeated MIT 12-10. Five players earned IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region honors and eight players were named to the All-Landmark team. 2024 saw Scranton capture a single-season program record 17 victories and capture a second straight Landmark Conference title with a victory over rival Catholic. Trescavage and the Royals advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history with an 18-6 win over Lake Forest College, while Lane garnered IWLCA All-American Third Team honors.  2023 proved to be a historic campaign for the Royals who notched victories over Moravian (13-10) and Catholic (17-10) to capture the first Landmark Conference title in program history. Scranton went on to battle Stevens in the NCAA Tournament and tied a program record with four players earning IWLCA All-Region honors in Lauren Boldis, Grace Dabulas, Grace Lane and Devyn Tanajewski.  The Royals posted a 13-6 record in 2022 and won eight straight from Apr. 6-May 4, prior to a heartbreaking Landmark Conference title game defeat (11-10) at the hands of Catholic. Schum garnered IWCLA All-American honors for a second straight year, while also being named Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. In a dominant Landmark semifinal victory (24-13) over Moravian, the Royals posted their most goals in a game since 2006.  After having the 2020 season cut short after just six games due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Trescavage and the Royals came back strong in 2021, finishing with a 9-2 mark and a 7-1 ledger in the Landmark Conference. Scranton once again made an appearance in the Landmark Conference Championship match, as Trescavage's Royals knocked off Juniata (20-7) and Moravian (19-7) to reach the title match for the fifth straight time. In 2021, Trescavage once again coached an IWLCA All-American, as Emily Schum earned Third Team accolades. Three more were named to the IWLCA All-Region squad, while six nabbed All-Landmark Conference honors, paced by Schum, the Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Year, and Jill Henson, the conference's Offensive Athlete of the Year. In her first season at the helm of the Royals program in 2019, Trescavage led Scranton to unprecedented heights, as the squad finished the year with their best record in a season in program history (16-3) and ranked nationally in the IWLCA Division III Top 25 poll for the first time ever (20th). The Royals advanced all the way to the Landmark Conference championship match in Trescavage's first campaign, as the team's three losses came to teams ranked in the final IWLCA Top 25 of the season. For her efforts, Trescavage was named the IWLCA Division III Boardwalk Region Coach of the Year, as she guided six student-athletes to All-Landmark Conference accolades, four more to IWLCA All-Region honors, and another (Becca Russo) to IWLCA All-American accolades, marking the first time since 2003 a Scranton women's lacrosse player earned All-American honors.    Trescavage brought six seasons of head coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level to Scranton having most recently led Misericordia from 2013-16 where she guided the Cougars to three straight MAC Freedom Conference playoff appearances and was named the league’s coach of the year in 2015.  Prior to her time at Misericordia, Trescavage was the head coach at Lycoming for two seasons.  During her four years at Misericordia, Trescavage transformed the Cougars into a contender in the MAC Freedom Conference.  She led Misericordia to back-to-back appearances in the conference championship game in 2015 and 2016 with the Cougars also earning bids to the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region championships both of those seasons.  In her final three seasons at Misericordia, Trescavage’s Cougars posted 26 wins including an impressive 14-4 record against conference opponents.  She mentored 14 Cougars to All-Conference honors and also coached four players to All-Region honors. Trescavage was also active in the lacrosse and campus communities, serving as a member of the NCAA Division III All-Region selection committee and the NCAA Division III regional advisory committee.  She was also a member of Misericordia’s suicide prevention and staff compensation committees. Before taking over at Misericordia, Trescavage was the head coach at Lycoming for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, where she helped two Warriors collect All-American honors from USA College Lacrosse.com.  She also had two players earn All-Conference accolades in 2012 and she boasted the nation’s second-leading scorer, Grace Gargiulo, who averaged 5.0 goals per game.  Trescavage was a standout performer on the field at Susquehanna from 2002 to 2006, scoring 102 goals during her career and serving as a team captain.  She excelled in the classroom as well, garnering Mid-Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll laurels all four years. Trescavage and her husband Mike reside in Dallas, Pa. with their three daughters - Harper, Emmy and Tessa. Reich begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Royals in 2026. A Rockville Centre, N.Y. native, Reich returns to Scranton following a standout five-year playing career with the Royals. She was a three-time All-Conference selection and earned Landmark Championship MVP honors in 2023. Reich ranks seventh in program history with 233 career points, sixth with 166 goals, and seventh with 67 assists, playing a key role in three Landmark Conference championships and two NCAA Tournament victories in 2024 and 2025.
