Bizot has earned 20 ASC Coach of the Year honors in his tenure after winning the ASC Men's Coach of the Year honor in 2016. He helped guide the men's and women's programs to ASC tournament championships in 2016 and to NCAA tournament berths. The men's team went 18-10 in 2016 with the tournament championship title coming with a 5-1 win over Texas Dallas and then a 5-3 win over Whitman in the NCAA tournament in Claremont, California. The season would come to an end with a hard-fought 5-4 loss to the No. 2-ranked Stags. Arthur Fagundes and Frankie Fischer both earned at-large bids to play in the NCAA DIII Championship. The women's team won its third straight title in 2016 by cruising to a 5-0 win over ETBU in the finals after 5-0 wins over Sul Ross and Texas Dallas in the opening rounds of the tournament. UT Tyler's season would end with a 5-1 loss in the NCAA DIII women's regional tournament against Trinity in California. UT Tyler once again saw both the UT Tyler men and the women win the ASC titles in 2015, the second in-a-row for both teams and the seventh championship out of the last eight seasons. The UT Tyler men reached the NCAA postseason once again, while three players, Chris Wootton, Daniel Budd and Frankie Fischer earned All-American and All-Region honors. UT Tyler's women also reached the NCAA postseason for the seventh time in program history, while Tori Musngi, Jennifer Payne, Nicole Musngi, Sarah Moses, Janae Warren and Emily Hoover earned All-ASC honors. In 2014, Bizot and the Patriots went on another historic run on both the men's and women's side, as the men won their sixth ASC tournament championship matching the women, who also set a program record for wins with 19. The UT Tyler men had seven members named All-ASC, while Bizot was named ASC Coach of the Year for the seventh time of his career on the men's side. The 2014 UT Tyler women won 19 matches, including a dramatic 5-4 win over rival Texas-Dallas to clinch the ASC tournament title. Six players were named All-ASC, while Bizot once again garnered Coach of the Year honors for the eighth time on the women's side. 2013 saw the men's team go 22-6, setting a record for most wins in a season with 22 while senior Ryan Ybarra was named ASC East Player of the Year. Teammate Daniel Brown was chosen as ASC Newcomer of the Year with Bizot once again being named ASC East Coach of the Year. Ybarra and Brown helped lead the Patriots to the second-round of the NCAA team tournament and also found a spot in the men's singles and doubles tournament. As a doubles team, Ybarra and Brown finished in the round of eight before falling to Emory. The women once again reached the ASC Finals in 2013, but were unable to win their sixth ASC title in-a-row. Four players, Haley Albro, Emily Evans, Nicole Musngi and Katy Zagurski were named All-ASC while Jessica Blundell and Jennifer Payne each garned divisional honors. In 2012, the men's team finished the season with an overall record of 17-5, while going a perfect 6-0 in the ASC on their way to their eighth consecutive ASC East title and fifth consecutive ASC tournament crown. The men, yet again, earned the right to play in the NCAA tournament. The women, just as impressive as the men, also won their fifth straight ASC title while boasting a 18-4 record and 6-0 in conference, while advancing to the NCAA field. Bizot has had two players, Dustin Phillips (2009) and Kevin Wright (2012) earn tennis most prestigious national award in the Arthur Ashe Award from the ITA. Phillips became the first Patriot in school history to collect the honor a week after being named one of four national finalists representing the NCAAs West Region. Wright earned the award in 2012, after leading the Patriots to their fifth straight ASC crown, and an appearence in the NCAA tournament. The 2009-10 season was yet again a success for the Patriots, with both teams claiming division and conference titles and making repeat trips to the NCAA Regionals. Ranked in the ITA Top 30 for the entire season, the women posted a 17-4 mark and made it to the second round of the NCAAs with the men following at 16-7 and their second trip to the NCAA regional championship match in three seasons. At seasons end, UT Tyler racked up in all-conference accolades, led by junior Michelle Hagler and sophomore Ashley Albro who were named the ASC East Player and Newcomer of the Year. In total, eight women and eight men were selected to the all-East Division Team, mostly comprised of first teamers. Brad Fenter and Nick Kreines also were named the first doubles All-Americans in school history after winning the ITA Southwest Regional in Dallas back on Sept. 28, 2009. His men's and women's teams were both ranked in the Top 20 and qualified for the national championships during his two seasons, with the womens team winning the 2004 NCCAA National Championship. A four-year team captain during his playing days at Mississippi College, Bizot holds a masters in history and also a bachelors in administration of justice.
