In Hartzells third year as Head Womens Basketball Coach, the Devils finished the 2015-16 season with an overall record of 11-18 and a conference record of 11-8. Despite losing two starters to season ending injuries, the Devils won seven of their last nine regular season games to finish third in the conference and earn their third straight playoff berth under Hartzell. The 2015-16 season came to an end by way of a 79-56 loss in the 2016 CACC Championship Quarterfinals. In her second season at USciences, Hartzell was named the CACC Womens Basketball Coach of the Year after leading her team to one of the best seasons in school history. The Devils captured their first ever CACC South Division title in 2014-15 after being picked to finish third in the conference pre-season poll. Hartzell guided the Devils to a 20-8 mark, which included a win over fifth-ranked University of Tampa. The Tampa win started a school record 16-game winning streak and a ranking in the weekly D2SIDA Regional poll. USciences produced the leagues best defense in that season, holding opponents to just 59.5 points per game. The Devils also led the league in assists per game, assist/turnover ratio, and three-point field goals per game. The Devils defeated Post University in the 2015 CACC Tournament Quarter-Finals by a score of 86-49 before falling to Holy Family University by a score of 38-32 in the CACC Tournament Semi-Finals. A team grade point average of 3.637 earned the Devils a spot amongst the top ten schools on the Womens Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Academic Top 25 Honor Roll for the 2014-15 season. The Devils were ranked ninth amongst the 315 Division II institutions sponsoring womens basketball and were just .014 from cracking the top 5. For the third year in a row, the USciences Womens Basketball Team recorded the highest team GPA amongst the 14 schools from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Devils were also the top team on the list from the East region and also posted the top GPA amongst the 28 schools from the Philadelphia area. In her first season as Head Womens Basketball Coach, Hartzell guided the team to an 18-9 record and a berth in the CACC playoffs. Hartzells 18-9 mark in her first season as head coach is the best record in program history by a first year head coach. The Devils recorded a 13-6 mark in conference games and earned some big regional non-conference wins over Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams West Chester University and Cheyney University and Northeast-10 Conference teams College of St. Rose and Franklin Pierce University. The Devils opened the 2013-14 season with the wins over St. Rose and Franklin Pierce and went on to win 11 of their first 14 games before hitting the toughest part of their schedule. USciences however, never lost more than two games in a row throughout the season. The team finished the year with a heartbreaking 70-65 loss at Caldwell College in the CACC Quarterfinals. Hartzell became the sixth USciences womens basketball coach in program history joining the Devils athletic staff after serving as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Archbishop Ryan High School for five seasons, compiling a 78-49 record from 2008-2013. In her final season, Hartzell guided her team to the Philadelphia Catholic League semi-finals.
