Matter served as the assistant womens soccer coach at Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014, leading the team to the PSAC Playoff Quarterfinal. Matter previously was the head mens soccer coach at Division III Pennsylvania College of Technology, leading the team to a 14-5 record and 2013-14 regular season PSUAC Championship. Matter, the 2013 PSUAC Coach of the Year, mentored two USCAA Academic All-Americans and two USCAA All-Americans. Before he was at Penn College, Matter spent two seasons as the assistant womens soccer and strength & conditioning coach at Division III Lycoming College where the Warriors earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the first time in school history in 2011-12, and garnered the honors again in 2012-13. While Matter was the volunteer assistant womens soccer coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2011, the team reached the PSAC Playoff Final in 2008, Semifinal in 2009 and Quarterfinal in 2010 as well as a program-best Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. A native of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, Matter has a bachelor of science in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he is currently working on completing the master of science in Sports Science program. Keusgen also competed with the German National Team, winning a bronze medal at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan. In addition to playing hockey, Keusgen has also spent the last 10 years coaching the sport, coaching both the men's and women's first teams of Oberhausener THC. Keusgen graduated with a bachelor of science in sport science with a focus on training and health from Ruhr University Bochum in Germany.
